I believe its time to spend some money and buy a new mod. I've had my Vamo V3 for about a year but lately it's been through some situations. I forgot I had set it down on my forklift at work and it rolled off cracking the tank and snapping the battery cap off. Ordered new tank and battery cap and worked fine again. THEN, my girlfriend stepped on it cracking the threads off of my protank 2. Luckily I still had the old cracked one and just swapped the bottom pieces. Worked fine until she bumped into my nightstand and it rolled off. Ever since then it leans really far to the side and I cannot get it to stop leaking and backfiring.

I think its time I lay it to rest or at least keep it as a backup mod until I can figure out whats wrong. I'm looking for a mod a little skinnier and slightly shorter than the Vamo V3 without sacrificing the amount of vapor I get from it. If that's not possible then don't take size into consideration. It's just a preference. My budget is $100 but will take in consideration ones that are below $150. Variable voltage. Long lasting Battery. Preferably one that comes in a kit with a charger or if you can direct me to a place that offers a charger for it.

Now my friend spent just as much money, if not more, on a much smaller mod and in my opinion it sucked. The battery lasted about one protank 2 full of liquid on a full charge and didn't produce much vapor at all. Not looking for a super small mod. I'm 6'5" so my hands are too big for those tiny ones.

Thanks in advance to whoever takes the time and helps me search for a new mod.

I own and like the sigelei 20w. It's variable watts not voltage. I doubt that's an issue but you did say VV specifically. Mine was from a local B&M for 75. (As a gift). It did not have a charger or anything but what you used for your vamo should be just fine for this. It also can handle a lower build than many regulated devices if you decided you wanted to do some coil builds. If you keep using your pro tank be careful in turning up the settings. A PT can't handle 20w. It's been tipped over a couple times by my wife and works just fine. What you really need is a solution for your woman. 2 ideas come to mind. 1st replacing your gf could be cheaper than replacing vape gear... If that's not an option a desk organizer, couple bucks at Walmart works well. I've got one with 3 pen holders that fits a normal mod just fine with some nooks at the bottom to hold toppers/ drip tips. It's very sturdy and my wife has not tipped a mod over in a month now.

For a tough unit that can be dropped and still keep working I would look to either an MVP or a ProVari.

ProVape has some blems on sale. I purchased a Satin Silver blem last month and have never found the so called blemish.
The regular ProVari with extended battery is shorter than a Vamo by around 1/2 inch (give or take), but is heavier.

I have used a Vamo but not the MVP....

Good luck!

MVP v2 for a less "muss and fuss" mod. I have both the Provari and MVP. The MVP can be had for $40 online. B&M's I've seen sell them for $70. It's vv or vw, has both capabilities :) 2600 mAh propriatory battery, the mod is the batt. Will check the ohms of carto or whatever you want to use. Very easy to use. Love my Provari's.......I wouldn't take to construction site cause I'd be afraid. With the Provari you'll need to order batts and charger which will take the cost up to around $200. I use my Provari at home. It's an excellent mod. Just more money involved. For a tank I'd use the T3D. The taste I get from it is clearer than with my Aerotank. Whew! That's my nickel:vapor:

I agree with the MVP V2!

But I think a Hana DNA 30 Clone is the way to go. I just ordered one for my dad and it is working great! he loves it, and is preforming better than his MVP and his Zmax. I will probably be getting one for myself in the near future.

It was $70 from fluidvapes, and we got it in like 5 days with standard shipping

I would look at the REO Grand!
Tough bottom feeder. You can drop it on cement, run over with car, fall off motorcycle doing 40mph and still keep on ticking!! I know this first hand as I have done all the above. 18650 battery last all day. Great road warrior. Along with RM2 rebuildable atty @ 1.0 ohm you will be blowing clouds, and plenty of flavor! You may sub ohm as well.Fresh squeezed juice same as dripping. No back wash juice going back in tank, turning brown by the time you reach the bottom of tank, no cracked tanks, no leaking, no dildo tube in your pocket! I have had mine for 3 years under much abuse and is still the best vape I have ever had.IMO :)

Lol some of these responses made me laugh. "replacing your gf could be cheaper than replacing vape gear", " no dildo tube in your pocket!".

I'll look into these mods today. I'm not much of a fan of the box like mods. Never have used one but the looks of it just put me off.
I've noticed a lot of you are suggesting mods that can take a beating. I swear, this doesn't normally happen. Yea, occasionally it falls of my bed but I only have it on the forklift when work is slow and for some reason my girlfriend had it out for my mod that day. Probably because I called it my pride and joy.
I have no knowledge on building/wrapping coils. I'm more of a buy a tank and replace the coils that fit it. That's as far as I've gone with the inner works of it all. Never done dripping nor do I know anything about it. I only vape one juice. I like the tanks because I can fill it up completely and it will last me a night out with friends. (depending if I have to share or not)
