Hey Gang....

I met a local customer about a week or two ago and set him up with some Ejuice. However he is becoming frustrated with the Ecig. He purchased the expensive kit at the "mall kiosk" and is getting frustrated. Here is a quick note to me and I was wondering if anyone can give some suggestions as to what I can say to him that would be great. Please note I do not sell hardware just juice.

"Hey Jerry - Got your message about the mods and yes I am very frustrated with attys and batts for this hydro ( But I think I should just call it quits with vaping - I had just replaced my atty when I texted you and its already toasted... (5 days) just as I am running out of juice (that I was about to order), and another battery is down (just before this atty went) - I know a mod would minimize the BS and I love your juices (I DIG 555) - but over the past 8 weeks I spent over $200 trying to keep vaping - and I love it... but it is so much cheaper for me to just go back to rolling analogs ( Over the same amount of time I would have only spent $60 or less ( I bummed real bad about it, but I have to be realistic, and I have already tripled what I would have spent not trying to begin with (

Maybe I will get a chance to give it a whirl again down the road - you'll definitely be the first person I go to if that's the case - think you have awesome juice and you gave me a lot of useful advice - you are the man! Thanks for the great service and help... XXXX"

My main concern is that he stays off of analogs and I'm willing to help him make a mod and even give him free ejuice just to keep him smoke free.

Any suggestions or ideas would be great. He has three young kids and I would hate to see him pick up smoking again.

I just ordered a KR808 from Analog Alternative, The Smoking Alternative for $35 including shipping. If you really want to help him out, this would be a great gift.

Dog gone it, that is one of the biggest problems with junk PV's they really turn people off to vaping. $200 bucks in and still nothing is working, that is a shame. If he asks again maybe you could direct him to this package.

Joye Platinum eGo

If that doesn't work, you might be better off suggesting snus. It has worked wonders for my best friend. His wife is doing fine with a vapor king, but it never really did it for him.

As your customer is a roll your own guy he probably won't mind the extra work of dripping and or fiddling around to get things right. Also 5 volts is one heck of a lot more hit than 3.7 so that might be something he needs as well as higher nic levels.

Good luck, and thanks for being one of those people who care.

I have some extra 808's that I can give him or I can make a quick mod box.

I don't want to put a ton of $$$ into this since he might be a lost cause but I'm not going to give up on him either.

I think a quick mod box should do the trick and I will give him plenty of juice since I can have a connection. :D

Is the hydro a Lucky 7 product? If so I'm ready to go to their office and stand up for the consumer.

Either way I'm pleading with him to either go cold turkey and quit nicotine all together or to give Ecig's one more shot. He has a family and does not make a lot of money so I can see his point. I really don't know him except we spent some time talking about the industry when he placed a order for some ejuice from me.

Any tactics or persuasion letter would help. I have plenty of connections where I can get hardware or even make him a mod. I'm just looking for a eloquent way to tell him not to throw in the towel.

You might want to remind him that nic on it's own will not cut out all the cravings. He is most likely addicted to a lot more than just that. (4,000 other chems and all). Snus is not that expensive and it's history is that it's about 1,000 times safer than smoking. I was a RYO because I really couldn't stand spending all that cash on Kools anymore. Then they jacked up the tax on them too.

Even with an e-cig he is still going through withdrawl.

I don't know who is making the worse name for e-cigs, the mall kiosk selling junk at $200,
or the Guys on Radio offering "Free" e-cigs. Check out this article that sounds great. Then check the small print at the bottom and see the "real price". Common sense should tell you no one is "giving you anything". Here is the link.E-Cig Consumer News - Health: The Future Of Smoking

Jerry, he has a Crown 7 Hydro which is a Kanger KR-208. Too bad folks jump into one of those awful little mini cigs without doing some research.
KR-208

Cold turkey probably won't work for him... he's already talking about how much cheaper cigs would have been. Sad.

Too bad he didn't know about the local VIP group, we could have set him up with a complete 510 kit yesterday at our monthly social (special there for members only on the 510 kits - only $30) and given him some help and hooked him up with a vaping buddy. Feel free to send him to the VIP forum or send him my email/phone number, and maybe I can help some or figure out who lives near by him that can meet up with him and keep up with him on the phone for support.

A box mod and a few 510 attys for him would probably work wonders.... learning how to vape well takes some time, no matter what model you buy.

Perhaps he can get a refund for some of the product that isn't working... Their product warranty is 90 days. Electric Cigarette | Smokeless Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette | Call Now 480-348-7899

Worse case is seeing if we can get the gear (he has now) going so he can use it or I'll give him some of my 510 gear if he really can't afford a new kit. I'd be happy to help. Let me know...

I need to fill you in on the crown 7 issue. Don't want to post info here but will tell you in person. He is giving up and has become frustrated with the local retailer (smoke shop) that sold it to him.

I feel really bad that we lost one. I still have not given up on him and basically offered a free (used but good) 901.

Here his last email....

Hey Jerry -

Good chatting with you again this morning and I appreciate your offer - you are still the man - but its not going to happen. I tried to just get my money back from the hydro (I bought it at XX's) but I didn't have the original receipt anymore ( - I was going to use the money to pay you and get some more juice ;o)... but it didn't work out, and one of their employees actually got an attitude with me defending the hydro and told me to take up to scottsdale and have them swap it out if I had a problem with it... so I got peeved to boot ( I can't spare any money right now, so that was the best plan I had, and that fell through. I think I am just fed up with it. But I wanted to drop a note and let you know what was up and not leave you hanging. Thanks a ton for the awesome service, juice, and advice! I'll be sure to tell anyone I know that is vaping to get their juice from you ;o)

He should be able to get a copy of the receipt from his CC company.

Tell him about the cartomizers for both the 510 and/or the 808

No hassles. E-cigs didn't work for me the first time around - it was when cartos were introduced that I knew I no longer had any excuses.

Yep, I'm going to give him a 901 or a 808 and let him give it another shot.

He bought junk, so its gonna be hard to sell him on something better. A FL mod is easy to make so you could try that, best bet would be to get him on something with a carto so that if he does have trouble its not that expensive to replace.

I have to agree with jaded - at this point he is frustrated with the whole process. If it were me I'd recommend a 'convenient' two piece KR808D-1 automatic - like the Extra-Long model Vapor King from V4L - ease of use, great vapor production, really good battery life between charges (it's been 6-8 hrs for me and I use mine pretty consistently) and great customer service from V4L. Then, since he likes your juices you could talk to him about dripping some juice into those carts. Just my thoughts.

I did the same thing spent over $150 for an ecig that had terrible battery life and the cartridges died really quick. I learned alot though and now have it pretty dialed in and have converted 5 people over to vaping since.

have him get this (KR808-D1) for $35.00 shipped

and some 24mg w/35%VG from here

and a couple boxes of (currently the best quality) empty cartridges from here

He should be very happy with that
