I’m rebuilding and remodeling an older vape of mine and have a few questions regarding the chip?

I’ve got an ipv6x, I’m planing on building a new box and turning it into a squonk. Now my question is regarding the battery door pin, is it possible to just add a new battery sled and bypassing the door pin

It "should" be possible to bypass the door pin. I've not messed with one of those so...
It is possible to remove the factory 510 top you have and use a squonker 510.
