I smoked for 30 years and except for "finding" my brand in the first few months, I smoked the same brand. Even another ultra light would leave me with a burning sore throat after just a few. I would be very surprised if there is another domestic brand that is more expensive than B&H Deluxe Ultra Lights and because they have consistently gone up they are harder to find if you unexpectedly run out too.
Believe me...I would gladly have switched for price and convenience. My point I guess is that I think, in part, I'm having a difficult time finding a ADV or even one I can tolerate for a couple of hours because I am so used to the same product.
I smoke 4 or 5 analogs a day at this point and that's better than a pack and a half. I am trying to put the terminology with the smoking experience, I never really noticed things like TH before. Here is what I have come up with so far...my old B&H have almost no TH and I really don't even discern a tobacco flavor (that's probably because my taste buds are fried) there is almost no heat either. I like the sweet flavors so far but nothing I could smoke for a long period at a time. Apple and peach are ok but not great(anything citrus is out, they taste like peel). Every tobacco I have tried burns and seems harsh even though I'm using 12% to 6% nic. FYI...so far I have gig a likes and just got an ego mini kit. I do plan to purchase a VV in the next couple of weeks.

Any hints on juice based off my description?
Will a lot of my problem be solved with the vv?
Would all VG help enough to make a difference (most of my juice so far is 50/50)?
What is the lightest smoothest tobacco flavor you have tried? My fav so far had a hint of caramel but was still too harsh.

Sorry for rambling a bit and I'd really appreciate any advice and/or suggestions. Thanks

My tobacco favourites are RY4 and Royal from Flavor Apprentice and i mix my liquid 50/50 like you. The harshness you are experiencing could be due to a number of things but i doubt it's your liquid. IMO it's more likely to be a badly performing atomiser coil.
As for other flavours - ones i like are black cherry and a menthol one - menthol is odd for me since i smoked 40 marlboro reds for 30 years! Most tobacco flavours are nothing like real tobacco because they are vapourised rather than burned as with a cigarette and so most taste like grass cuttings to me.

I'm sure that once you find a flavour you like and can replicate easily you'll dump the analogs totally!
