Hello everyone this is my first post.A little background info about myself is as follows.I was an extreme dipper for 30 yrs. and the only way I could quit was to switch to cigs. This has been a year ago and I almost quit the smoking with nicotine lozenges (went for 3 months on them with no cigs.) When I did start smoking again I still used the lozenges and my habit was about half cigs and half lozenges.I became ready to go back full time on the lozenges and then quit altogether when I found a little e-cig at my local c-store called "clean smoke".The starter kit came with 1 battery 2 cartomizers and a usb charger all for $9.99!!

I went home, charged the battery and started puffing away.I really could not believe how after 3 hours I did not want a real cig.Everything about it simulated my Pall mall light 100 perfectly. The Hit,taste, satisfaction,it was all there and the cartomizers lasted a long time.I was hooked on vaping!! After a week I thought of getting a nicer e-cig(after all I was using a c-store el-chepo!!) and started shopping around.I decided on the vapor king from vapor4life and ordered $50.00 worth of wow and cool carts cartomizers.
I was super looking forward to getting my order as I was sure the vapor king would be an even greater and more satisfying experience over the "el-chepo" that I was smoking on now.

WRONG!!:mad: I could not have been more disappointed and let down:cry:.

This E-cig was horrible.I had to suck my brains out just to get a decent hit.My clean cig has an effortless light hit that produces lots of taste and vapor.I could not feekin belive it!! The Twice as expensive vapor king had way less vapor and way less taste:mad:

I think that the problem is the batteries(not the cartomizers) and I will be returning mine as soon as possible!! however I can not return the cartomizers for a refund so I am stuck with $50.00 worth of them.Does anyone know of any other brand of batteries that I may be able to use with my wow and cool cart cartomizers that will produce a better vaping experience?

I looks like they use a 808 carto. Also it sounds like you bought automatic batteries for them? When I was using that type I preferred the manual batteries. The manuals you hit the button, give it a puff, then draw in somewhat slowly. With the autos the battery won't start until you start sucking and as a result get less of a hit.

If you want to stick to a cig style, many people here recommend Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Smokeless Image Electronic Cigarettes - The Future is in your hands . I never used them, I used the V2 system. I don't think the batteries are that much different from what you got....I think its more of a function of auto vs manual batteries, or it could be an issue with the carto, but I assume you tried other cartos since you have so many.

If after reading other threads here, you want to move away from a cig style, you can buy an adapter that lets you use the 808 cartos on other units, like a 801-510 adapter. Also in the future I would suggest buying ejuice and refilling your own. Keep your used cartos, and you can refill them when dry, or boil them out if you are getting flavor crossover (if you burn a carto just throw them away as you won't get rid of the burnt taste cuz you burned the filler material.)

I'm sure more people will chime in with some advice :)

Good luck! Once you get it working you'll never go back to a smoke, you'll probably just want to upgrade...which most of us end up doing.

welcome to ECF, I had some bad experiences when I first started too, you have to persevere and you will find a system that works for you. Be prepared for some fails if you start DIY and some huge successes too! dont be put off theres always plenty of help here if you serch your question or just start a thread yourself.

Hello,an extreme dipper is someone who way over uses "smokeless tobacco" like skoal,Copenhagen etc..
At my worst I had gotten up to 2 and a half cans a day.I am sure that my nicotine levels could have given someone else nicotine poisoning or a heart attack.

Oh ok thanks, we dont have those in NZ we only have a couple of places that sell juice I have to buy overseas.
