Vaopr King cartomizer compatibility?

Hello all, new to the forums. I just received my Vapor King starter kit and I seem to have some "dead" cartomizers. I bought a few different flavors to try out, and a couple of the flavors had a cart or two that wouldn't work. I pulled the mouth piece off and they do have liquid in them, so they are not dry. I have a couple questions.

First, is there anything I can try to get these "dead" carts to work?

If not, are these premium cartomizers considered not the greatest brand? Are there any other brands out there that will work with my Vapor King batteries? If so, are those brands better than the ones they sell on Vapor Kings website? FWIW I did order a couple boxes of the WOW cartomizers from their website to try out. I just don't want to constantly run into this problem, of buying new packs of carts and finding out there are one or two "dead" ones in each box.

I would contact V4L about the dead cartos,it seems to me that they should at least have a DOA(dead on arrival)warranty. I can't speak of better cartos,since I almost never use them,and when I do I get blanks and fill them myself

Welcome to the fourm!! to clearify is it the vapor king from vapor 4 life or is a starter kit from vapor king the web site (confusing I know) if it off the vapor king web site which model? If you have a mulit meter you can check the continuity and resistance of the carto.

I have the Vapor King Ultimate automatic starter kit from vapor4life. I do have a multimeter, whats the process for checking them? If someone could give me a quick rundown, I could check the carts with my multimeter.

I had a couple dead carts in the tobacco sampler pack, and a few dead carts from the spearmint box as well. All of my 555's have been good so far, part of the reason they have quickly become my favorite cart.

Yes thats a kr808d-1 type. to check with the multimeter put meter to read ohms and one lead on the threads and the other in the center of the carto. Not exactly sure what the ohms should be (my reg 510 attys have about 2.3 to 2.4 ohms) so may be in that ball park for a regular kr808d-1 carto. If 0 or infinty then there is a problem with the carto (short or open cirucit).

I checked my dead carto's and my working ones, and all of them were ~3.8 ohms on the multimeter. Looks like they might be dry, seems all of them have the same resistance so I'd guess the atomizer is working in them. guess I'll have to get some juice asap so I can start refilling these. Hey well i use the Vapor king WOW blank carts and love them every now and then i get a free sample from them that don't work but i have never got a Blank WOW cart that doesn't, i have tried all there flavors and carts and the ones i found are the best is the WOW blanks with the WOW peppermint 18mg liquid and i like the premium RY4 18mg liquid in these carts too and the WOW 555 is also good i do not like the Premium cool carts or the regular carts i only buy the WOW blanks i use them for months i have only had one i had to throw away and that was because i pulled the wire out taking the rubber cap off ,all i do is boil the carts for 3 times at 15min a time and they are as good as new i do this when they get burnt tasting, i LOVE vapor king XL battery with my WOW carts

Vapor4Life sells KR-808D-1 model.
Resistance 3.6ohm-3.8ohm is normal for their cartomizers.
You can use any KR-808D-1 cartomizers, but in my experience V4L has good cartos.
Their wow cartos have a bit lower resistance and produce better vapor/flavor.
