Hi all, new to the community and looking for some help.
I just got my coolfire IV yesterday and I've stuck some Vapourlites Very Cherry 18mg liquid in it. I also have a Pro Vari P3 but wanted to try a sub ohm mod so I got the Cool Fire IV. I normally use 18mg or 1.8% juice with the provari and other non sub-ohm tanks as I feel otherwise the hit is barely noticeable.
My problem is that the hit from the cool fire seems REALLY hot and harsh. I can't actually inhale it at all. I'm using an iSub tank with 0.5 ohm coils, also iSub. It recommends a wattage setting of 20-35W so I set it to 20W to test it out and it still seems like a really, really harsh hit with a brand new wick and plenty of juice. I've wet the wick prior to using it, as instructed by the manual, but I just can't seem to hit this thing without feeling like I'm chomping on a cigar!
The liquid I'm using is high PG, not high VG so would that be a factor? I've ordered some much lower nicotine liquid with high VG content to see if that has an effect, but is this just the way sub ohms work?
Thanks for any help!
