Ok when I first started looking around I thought that everything was pretty much cut and dry with what all the parts were for e-cigs, now im slightly lost. I need some help because I dont know the difference between cartomizers, atomizers, tanks, drips, variable voltage, basically it all, im just confused. In another thread I had made I was suggested the joye 510-t, and I want to know if this is the easiest for someone new to e-cigarettes, something that I can pretty much just put liquid in and go.

also, which is most cost effective to where I dont need to be buying new parts every other day?

edit: or is there some kind of video or website that anyone knows of that has definitions and examples of all the different types

here's an ecig glossary with "most" terms:

eGo series isn't too bad but the batts do not hold their constant charge. DO NOT order the eGo series tanks- lottsa problems with them. You can always order a tank with carto OR clearomizer afterwards.

Most decent PVs should last at least 9 months. The only true replacement parts will be the delivery system:
Generally the different delivery systems:
atomizer/ atty- an element- used for testing juices so you don't spoil a cartomizer with horrible juice
cartridge/ cart+ atty- cartridge has filler and is saturated with juice- juice drips on to atty
cartomizer/ carto- a metal tube with element and filler- juice from the saturated filler is vaped. Must be topped off occasionally
carto+tank- carto with a hole punched in it surrounded by a metal, glass or plastic tank that's filled with juice. Juice saturates the filler via the hole in carto
Clearomizer-wick+element in a plastic or metal tube with NO filler.
Juice Components
Flavoring usually about 10%
PG enhances flavor, TH and lung hit- water like
VG= vapor and can mute flavor- thick
Nicotine- TH, lung hit and our need for nicotine. The MOST important ingredient in regards to TH and lung hit.
Standards in the industry are 80/ 20 or 70/ 30 PG/ VG. I vape 60/ 40 PG/ VG.

When buying realize battery info:
100 mah= 1 hr normal vaping before recharging.

Depending on what you want, the easiest two delivery systems that require the least amount of maintenance and replacement is the vivi nova 2.5 and the Phoenix (ce3) bottom coil cartomizers.

The Phoenix holds 1.5 ml, doesn't leak and lasts a long time, very easy to clean.
Mine last about 3-4 weeks refilling once a day

Vivi nova is completely rebuildable. Holds 3.5 ml

which is the easiest (in terms of use and in terms of cleaning/replacing the atomizer, cart etc.) for a beginner to use?
The cheapest is carto with tank- when I used them cartos would last about 2 weeks.
Easiest but more expensive are the Clearomizers-. Some like the Phoenix, some like the Vivi nova. I'm using the Stardust V2 clearomizers and have had no problems BUT realize with all tanks and clearomizers the flavor will be muted. I DIY juice and add extra flavor.

I recently found a Product made by Kanger. It's a single coil, 2.5 ml, 2.4 ohm CLEAROMIZER with replaceable coils (different ohms). It comes in colors but is clear enough to monitor you juice level. Very easy to fill. Just unscrew tip and fill with bottle. The center air tube is about 1/4" higher than the sides of the tube so you simply pour in the juice and replace the tip. Unit can be disassembled and cleaned easily. Mine has been going for about a month with no problems. Changed flavors 3 times.
You can find them here: AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | T2 Clearomizer - 2.4ml, Replaceable Head.
