Need help with Eleaf 60 watt temp Control.......

Hi Fellow Vapers,

I bought some Ni 200 pure nickel wire today and just made dual coils in my Derringer with 28 guage

1.8 mm screwdriver to wrap wire on.

used 5 wraps and put said Derringer onto eleaf temp control mod and it said .03 ohms

and so I locked in the resistence and little paddle lock symbol came up and I said great..

Hit the fire button and get message----"Atomizer Low"

No heat---- No Vapor------ No Nothing----------is there something this old 64 year old man is doing wrong??

Any help from you experts would be greatly appreciated..................

Just what it says brother, raise the ohms, don't think the mod goes that low

Yeah, most nickel coil builds I've seen people do have anywhere from 10 to 15 wraps. You have to because of nickel's low resistance. That's why I build with titanium. 7-8 wraps gets me to .33 ohms which "seems" safer to me.

I tried a dual coil Ni200 build in my Billow V2. Couldn't get enough wraps in there with 28G. A smaller gauge wire like 30 or 32G and larger diameter coils would be better for a dual coil build. Remember to space your wraps. Ni200 won't oxidize, so contact coils create hot spots and shorts.
