Need help with EVOD please

I just remove the base, wipe it down, twist a small piece of paper towel up through the mouthpiece until I see it at the post top. Then refill, twist the paper on up and remove, then be sure the atty is screwed in tight, and replace the base. Been going weeks with same atty.

I have some that sit for a while in rotation, I place them mouthpiece down in a board I drilled holes in. This keeps the coil from flooding.

The flavor wicks are supposed to keep hot juice from flying up off the coil into your mouth. They also help keep excess juice away from the coil. I would think without them it would flood/gurgle. Do you need them? It's a matter of opinion. Take one apart, see if you like it better, if not you can put them back.

Sitting for a few days probably isn't what's gunking the coil. Vaping is doing it.

Removing the flavor wicks may make it leak, or maybe not. If you're careful, and save them, you can put them back.

I've gotten Kanthal from several places on line, but can't help with the square wick.
