need help with hexohm box mod

I've been vaping on a hexohm box mod for quite a while now. I've had no issues until recently. Whenever I put in my batteries it makes a weird ticking noise and won't fire. I don't know too much about it but I'm hoping someone has experienced something similar.

Are the batteries in backwards? Sounds like reverse polarity possibly.

I've looked at that but the batteries are how they're supposed to be put in

Its probably the chip. If it was my own mod that I built myself, I would take it apart, but I'm pretty sure that HexOhm has a warranty, so you should send it for repair.
