Hey guys. The little rubber o ring has come out from the 510 connection on my infinity. Ive been trying to get it back in but cant. Is it supposed to be under the post or just around it? Hoping its something I can fix myself. Thanks.

Well I kinda got it stuffed under the post and have it working again. Prob not the way it should be though. Wonder how many attys I tossed thinking they were dead. Just found one that I missed throwing away and it works now. Guess they were all just shorting out before. Is this sort of thing covered under warranty? My attys never did make contact unless I pulled the posts out. No matter what brand.

Could be just a bad part but Mike will fix it. I've never got juice that far down on one of my PVs. I've had it go to the top part of my adapter but not into the mod. I have overtightened them and it causes the O ring or isolator to get squished out though. I hate putting them back in. I put one in last night but for a different reason.

I'm not real good at this but here goes. The Carto/atty gets screwed down too far as in the figure on the right causing the oring in blue to be squished out of it's place allowing the center post in red to contact the housing of the connector. Then you have a direct short between the negative and positive causing the short.

On the left is how it should be.
