If it's like this one which says in the description 'Fabric reinforced multipurpose duct tape', it's quite tough.

Keep in mind that if the spring gets through it the mod will fire continuously until you unscrew it. I would not leave it after use without unscrewing the mod so there is no tension on the battery and nothing bad can happen.
