Kamry K100 advice

Hi folks, my lovely shiny Kamry K100 (and its a real one so very sexeh) turned up today and been messing with the atomisers which I am finding aren't the best tasting but its in red and chrome and wondered if there were any matching sort of tanks out there that go with the whole metal theme.

I was well pleased as I dunno why but it came with a battery fuseboard AND a kick all included and proper certificates and guarantee etc and the machining is extremely good, thought it was a bit bigger than it is but for a first time mech, I could recommend this one

Waiting for the Kmax to turn up as well, that's in copper and black (the one with the sexy screen on it) and ordered a RG500 with copper shield on it to go with that but the red on the RG500s is different to the K100 red and would look odd methinks

Advise away please

It came with a 18650 and a 18350 Kamry battery included, I take it that stacking them is a no no without some sort of control head?

actually stacking them is a no no, no matter what (huh? a lot of no's, cyrano)

You will use the fuse when you are not using the kick module

The kick will give you a regulated vape from start to finish (and will only work with 18350 battery - not enough room for the kick and the 18650)

the fuse will let you use the 18650 in regular mech mode but your vape will start strong and get weaker as you vape

please DO NOT TRY TO BUILD ANY SUB OHM coils until after you read baditude's blog on mech's, batteries and subohms - plan on having to pass a subohm battery safety test (ok, not really, but I am just looking out for your safety - an 18650 venting can be a terrifying and scarring (actual scarring, not psychological scarring) thing to have happen.

I throw an IBTanked 19mm XL carto tank on mine. It's the same diameter as the K100.

well, actually there is no such thing as "a genuine k100" since all k100s and k101s are empire clones, but that doesn't mean it's not one of the best mech mods around. try a protank 2 with a red pyrex glass - same diameter and easy to rewick. don't stack, don't go under 1.5 ohm, use locking ring when transporting it, use protected or imr and don't push battery when vape starts to feel weaker - a sure you MUST change battery. buy a plastic box for your batteries. good luck.

I'm using the 18650 as it is and keeping the 18350 for the e-pipe, will be looking at the protank with the red glass, should look the business, dunno what it is with the atomisers but they both taste like metal with a hint of flavour, both well loaded with juice and did a dry burn on both but just yuk

Cheers for the advice all, its a nifty little mech and wishing I got the black one as have a gold plating machine on its way (for Vespa part detailing) and thought the main body would look good with a bit of gold over it in places.
