Hey everyone, so I would call myself a beginner, but by no means am I a pro. I've been gaping for about a year. I currently have the istick 40 w with the kangertech sub tank nano. Since I've been using this device with 0.50 coils. I changed the coil this morning, made sure I put some juice on the coil, sucks in some air before firing (sorry I have no idea the technical terminology, just starting to learn the names of each part). Well anyway it burnt the hell out of my throat. So I tried another brand new coil, same thing. I went to my favorite vape shop and my favorite vape dude cleaned it up for me. I tried it and it tasted better. Came home charged it, put my favorite juice in it (Ruthless creamsicle), took a few hits which didn't taste so great, but now its burning my throat again. WTH am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Amy

I'm familiar with the Ruthless brand e-liquid and I believe that stuff has a very high VG ratio which makes it a bit harder to wick in those stock Kanger coils. In other words when the liquid is thicker you will vaporize it faster than the wicks can absorb more.

If you're using the vertical coils it might even be worse.
