Ok so i have 3 X6 batteries and 1 ego twist. About 2 weeks ago my vip charger stopped working so i bought 2 new cheap chargers off ebay but they was taking a ridiculous amount of time to charge my batteries, it took 8 hrs to charge the twist (usually takes around 3 hrs) and never fully charged my x6 because i gave up (usually takes 5hrs). So i got a refund for them and bought another from my local poundsaver shop, this did exactly the same and in the end i used my dads charger which charged them just fine. Does anybody have a clue as to why this is happening?
Ive cleaned my batteries and they are being charged through the same outlet as they always have.
I have no ecig shops local to me so not able to ask for advise or for a decent charger
Thanks for reading
Pamela

There's a list of forum approved suppliers here....
Forum Suppliers
Though there's only a few that are UK you should get decent products and services from them.

Also there's a UK only subforum that's good for asking advice about where to buy in the UK, though you'll need to get your first 5 posts in before you can ask there.....

Hi pamelac and welcome to the forum!

Most likely, the chargers you bought were low power chargers (500 mA), and the charger you had was higher power - 1 amp or more.

You only have 2 more posts to go and then wait until 25 past the hour when the software resets. Then you'll be free to post elsewhere.

Happy Vaping!

    Try this?-

    -Google your battery.

-Read the info on the battery page. A good site will state what charger to use with it.

Ego batteries sometimes use different chargers and it can be very dangerous to use the wrong one.

If one of your batteries uses a common Mini USB wire, like for a cell phone, usually you can't use the screw on ego chargers with them.

    Pamelac,

I've own three of these batteries myself. I think this youtube video, (6mins) explains it better than I could : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rILX5ur2ffM

The "well" on the top of the mod is the problem. You either need a) an ego style battery charger that has a slightly longer contact end, or b) you can try to pry up the battery top contact.... which there are dozens of youtube videos out there for doing this too.

Most likely you screwed down one of your ego threaded tanks too far, and pushed the button top battery down just enough that it will no longer contact the charger. The charger bottoms out on the top of the mod.

I was always lucky that my standard ego chargers made contact just fine....but I think you just need to pry up the top of the battery slightly....go slow, be gentle, and just do a little bit at a time.
