where?
Hi, just received my Ego T and I am having a problem with it, I hope someone who is familiar with it can help. I prep it by blowing out the primer liquid from the atty and all, screwed it on the the battery, popped a type B tank on, and when I tried to suck in, nothing happens, its like there is no air flow what so ever.

So i tried just sucking in on the tank, and it works. I took the atty out and tried sucking on it, there was air flow too, but once i put it on to the battery, the air flow just stops. Could it be a defect with the battery?? I've tried me friend's Ego before and everything was ok. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Make sure you put on the tank so that the flat sides of the tank are aligned with the air holes in the atty plate. This is probably not the root cause of your particular problem but it couldn't help to try it. Don't overfill the tanks or the juice gets pushed out and floods the atty and pours down into the reservoir tip of the tank.

After that I would check the atty. Blow from the battery side and put your finger in the tank side (without the tank) and see if you can feel air flow. If you can then its very strange that there is no airflow and I have no clue. If you can't I would call it DOA and contact the seller for a replacement.

Edit: BTW did you prime the atty a bit? This is probably not relevant to your problem, but if an atty is new, at the very least you need to attach a full tank and let it sit on its side for a while to let it wick. According to info on this forum, best way to prime an atty is to drop a couple drops in the battery side hole and then put on a tank and let it wick for a while before smoking, then take a few cigar style puffs before going for the long pull.

If you have spare atty and batt, try switching them around and see if it works...

Wish I had a spare, unfortunately this is my very first set, so nope I do not have a spare batt and atty =( Thanks for all the suggestions, I just emailed the supplier and see what they can do.
