Need help with my NEW 306

Okay, so I just got my new 306 today and I seem to be having some trouble with it. I don't know if its just because its new or whats up, but I'm only able to get about 5 drags out of a whole cart. I can get 4 good drags with nice throat hit, but then the 5th drag has (for the past 5 refills) been very weak and dry with no throat hit. I got this thing to bring on short car trips around town, but if I can only get 4 drags before its dry, then I'll probably have to refill by the time I sit down in my car. Am I doing something wrong? I also tried dipping the atty like a 401, but it only gets about 2 drags that way.

HELP PLEASE!

Sorry I should have been more specific haha. Its the Joye306a, the Yeti's little brother.

EDIT: I just noticed that when I blow on the atty, it turns bright, glowing red like a toaster coil. Is it supposed to get that hot? I can also taste a slight burning flavor when I get to the 5th drag.

EDIT 2: Okay I just tried my 2nd one with a prefilled cart and its still going after at least 15 drags, so maybe I just have a bad atty on the first? I don't get any throat hit with the prefilled cart, but I don't even get one with my Yeti using the prefilled.

odd man. I have had a coulple do tha to me too and i have not figured out why. Also. Yes they are allowed to get that hot, on a yeti u just never see it.. its recessed and under a cart lol.

Update: I took the 306 to work with me today and it worked very well. I think maybe it's just slow to wick or something because when I took just 1 or 2 drags every 15 minutes, it lasted me almost 4 hours on the same cart (I actually had to switch batteries to finish the cart). I also used a hot needle to poke a hole in the bottom of the liquid cup and it seems to drain better than yesterday.

Jason, your shipping and service is excellent. I refer everyone to your site because you get my stuff to me in 2 days (except for once because of a holiday). I just ordered a 302 penstyle for my girlfriends dad this afternoon. Take good care of it!
