What's up guys , so I'm new to rba's , I got myself a couple of kayfun clones and also got a squape on the way . I've built one coil using I believe a 1/16 Dremel bit (I think that's the size might be wrong) , saw some people recomend it on here . wrapped it about 7-9 times (not to sure how many it was) , pinched it , torched it , anyway it came out to about 1.9 on the ohm meter and my svd . It was a pain in the .... to get right because deck on kayfun kept getting loose but that's for another thread . I'm using the kayfuns on my svd and nemesis clone . Got some of the grey pannys for the svd and a couple of orange mkne's for my nemesis . I'm looking to experiment with different resistance coil builds . And might try some drippers down the line once I get a better grip on things .
now the question at hand , I found a coil calculator on the App Store it looks brand new and it seems to be the only one in the App Store at this time . But I'm having a hard time figuring it out it goes a little like this
choose kanthal/nich 27-35 , AWG 1-3
Rounds 0-30 , 0-9
Round diam 0-40 , AWG 1-9
One tail length 0-40 , in 0-9
Resistance,ohm =
Wire length to cut = In
heres a couple of pics of what I'm looking at ( sorry for links , pics were to big )

So my question is what are round diam , AWG and one tail length , in for ??? I'm guessing rounds is wraps but the 0-30and 0-9 got me confused , same with the other stuff. .
App was only 99 cents so I said F it and bought it , hoping this can help me take some guess work out of building coils until I get more familiar with how many wraps will be what with different gauge kanthal .
Thanks for for any help you can give me , I'd really apreciate it !
