got my MVP v2 yesterday and It seems to only fire when it feels like it. I put a carto tank on it and it does nothing at all, so I check the ohms and it says NON, so I take it off and screw it on the provari and it works just fine.. so I put on a different carto tank and it works just fine. One time I tried the non working carto tank on it again and it worked.. ? Am I'm just doing something wrong, or is it being hard to get along with?

hmmmm...did I post this it the right place?

can that be fixed? or should I try and return it.. or option c - deal with it ?

If its just one carto I would think that its the carto and not the MVP. If I had a whole slew of cartos then I would blame the MVP.

I have a mix of evods that are clone and name brand and I had one clone that was a bit wonky but if I set it on tight it fires. I just put that one aside for emergencies.

Did you get it at a B&M or somewhere that could tell you if the centerpost is adjustable?

My MVP1 had the same issue with cartotanks. The issue was the carto connectors because every other juice attachment worked.

I could have adjusted the center pin on the MVP up as previously suggested, but I was about to pay-it-forward the MVP to a new vapor who was going to use clearomizers exclusively on the MVP so I didn't bother.

It's alot of different cartos actually, thats whats weird that it works sometimes and not others, then sometimes for no reason I can tell it will work with one it previously didn't work with. very strange indeed. I actually got it off ebay, and I did email the seller but haven't gotten a reply as of yet. my guess is he wont take it back though.

I'm confused as to which thing I'm suppose to pull on :) one of you say the mvp and someone else said NO! the carto. :) not sure where on a cart I could wiggle to be honest :)

Ok, so I TURN it off :) and then with tweezers wiggle up the center pin? I certainly don't need a shocking experience this morning! :)

Get a toothpick or small screwdriver (something small) and put it in the end of your cartomizer where you screw it onto the battery and pull out slightly. Even try on either side of the cartomizer. It might not be making a connection so your trying to pull it out slightly so it'll connect with your mvp.

Cartomizers are cheap and cheaply made. It's not uncommon to get one that's not 100% perfect.

It's probably not the mvp if other cartomizers work on it. You could get an adapter.

I get that he said that, I don't have a center pin on a carto, therefore nothing at all to adjust.

There is a center button on your MVP. I wouldn't advise fooling with it because you can easily break the mvp. Fool with the cartomizer first.

They do make adapter's/extenders-

Here's an example, most suppliers carry them. This might help. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
510 to [510] Adapter/Extender

I had an ego battery once that no amount of fooling with helped and I got some sort of adapter for it and it did work.
