MVP 3.0 and Kanger Subtank ( 1.2 ohm OCC ) not working

So i had mvp 20w, and the kanger subtank worked fine with 1.2ohm occ at 11-12w.

Just put it on the mvp 3.0 and does not fire. Does not detect ohm ( blinks like this "-.-")

what gives? I tried with kanger pro tank 1.8ohm coil and it works great.

Don't know, but will say that mine works with a .5 coil

That is strange, i dont have an aswer as i dont have that model. But hopefully someone can come along and let you know if there is a fix.

Have you tried more than one OCC coil and do they all not register on the battery?

Oh and if more than one coil isn't showing up on the mvp3 but the protanks are, then the subtank isn't making contact with the battery connector. Now on my mvp2 if the battery connection gets pushed down too far then some tanks with shorter 510 threading won't connect and you can just gently pry up the center pin with something pointy. But the 3.0 is spring loaded, and I'm not familiar with connection issues with those. But I wager if you compare the 510 threads on the bottom of the protank with the subtank that the protank threads are longer and go down further into the battery. Sorry I don't know how to fix that for you though.

I use the same combo, MVP3 and subtank mini. Not had one problem with the two. Like Maiar said the coil would have been the first thing i checked. Maybe check the spring loaded connection and make sure its not stuck compressed into the battery.

Be sure to install the coil with the base off the mod. The center pin on the base floats.
