Need help with settings

Hello,

I need some help with my Itaste MVP Settings.

I am using the KangerTech Aero tank with it and can't seem to get more than a few days out of my dual coil.

I have it set at 4.0 U and am now using the 2.5 ohm coil which seems to last about 2 days longer than than 1.5 ohm i previously used. I also use the European Gold e-liquid from myfreedomsmokes.

I go thru about a tankful of juice a day and a coil every 4-5 days. Maybe i am using it too much or at too high a setting? i looked at the charts for the coils and maybe the coils should last longer?

All coils need to be replace at some point, as a matter of fact, the longest I've used a replaceable coil for is about two weeks, and most of that was burnt hits. I had to because I was super broke. Also, that was vaping at 11 watts on the mvp.
The problem with replacement coils is they do burn out eventually. 4 to 5 days is usually how often I change coils. Try moving to volts and setting it at the lowest. See if the grants a little more life. And, if your liquid is a darker one, they tend to gunk up faster then the clearer type.

I clean my coils every 3 days or so and dry burn them. I can get 2-4 weeks out of a coil unless its a dud and only lasts a few day (this does happen at times).

If you want better performance out of your Kanger coils I suggest you periodically clean AND dry burn them. When they finally don't work well (or at all) replace them (but save the non-functioning ones). You may at some point want to learn to rebuild them.

I dont know your liquid, so i dont know if this is a factor, but darker juices tend to also gunk up coils quicker.

Actually, your settings might be too low. Your 2.5Ω dual coil atty is made out of two 5Ω coils (the 1.5Ω DC--two 3Ω coils). A 5Ω coil needs more than 4 volts; you're only vaping at 3.2 watts, which below satisfactory range.

Other than that, I agree with other posters--keep your coils clean! Good luck!
