Hey All,

Got a new MV SideSho kit with pre-filled carts/atty and Auto battery.

Question is, can't seem to connect the batt to the atty correctly. The instructions said to turn till it touches then a 1/4 turn. When I turn it to connect it, do I stop when I don't see anymore gold platting connectors? Stop before that happens? I can feel the atty heat up either way.
With no gold shown the draw is a little difficult.

Vapor issues:
I get about 3 puffs with vapor on the pre-filled carts then it's every 5th or 6th puff i get a little vapor or mostly not at all. I've tried 3 new carts as well with the same issue.

I've adjusted the cart on the atty, from all the way on till almost on (1/8in off) and it sometimes effects the vapor quantity. Then I get no vapor during draw, (It sounds like i'm sipping on a straw, should it be this way?) or if i put it down then try in an hour i get vapor on the first draw then nothing again. I took the pre-filled cart out and see plenty of liquid in it.

Do i have a defective atty or battery? Am I not getting enough draw (Air) through the battery/atty/cart or is the juice not getting to the atty?

Let me know your thoughts

Tony

I never do extra 1/4 turn. I turn slowly until I feel resistance like it is contacting the pole of the battery then I stop. Only if it won't warm up do I try a tiny bit more turn. if you turn too much you can force the center post of any piece to become depressed.

What are you using - atomizer and cart? carts pretty much suck compared to cartomizers. And IMO auto batteries make it harder to get a good hit vs manuals.

I have no idea what model Sidesho is. The atty looks M401-like BUT they had it modified. M401 has male batteries. Sidesho has female batteries with with male atomizer. The atomizer is a modified pointy kind unlike the original Smoore 401 atty which has a wide low atty bridge. The pointy bridge may compress the cart stuffing.

IMO - They are the ones who modified it and supposedly "made it better" - I guess ask them where you can get cartomizers for it. Most people prefer cartomizers to carts. Though with auto batteries you would need to be very careful not to let a cartomizer leak.

You could try Blu cartomizers. They MIGHT fit based on something I read.

And re the tiny carts with push-up juice cup that you probably have with that style of atomizer - try cutting blue foam stuffing for them. You should be able to cut down the precut blue foam for 510 at strictlyejuice.com (under $1 for 10). Cut it about 3/4 the inner length of the juice cup and very very slightly wider - just enough to help it stay in place but not so much that it presses closed the holes in the foam. And taper the inner end a bit. That is the most preferred stuffing for carts. It holds its shape, easy to rinse and totoally pat dry.

Also - when you press the juice cup back down into the mouthpiece, do NOT press on the stuffing. The stuffing should be positioned at the top edge of the juice cup. Use an unbent paper clip and press between the inner wall of the mouthpiece and the edge of the juice cup. Alternately if the carts come with a silicone plug , that may be usable to push the juice cup down. Then attach the cart to the atty.

What is a MV SideSho ?

I'm pretty sure it is an M401 or 402. I hate to tell the OP this, but it just isn't a very good model. One of the worst, infact.

There are at least 50 better models than the M401 and half of those cost around $45.

If they have a return option, I would return it and look at the E-Power, Riva or Kgo.
