Hi @BoUlToN welcome to the forum. If you didn't prime the coil (add a few drops of juice to the wick before firing) you've probably scorched the wick. This is the most common error with a burnt taste in the Subtanks. If you've gotten a dry hit and toasted the coil you'll have to dump the tank of juice, replace the coil, and rinse out the tank before adding fresh juice (I use a paper towel to reach in and dry mine).

To prime a subtank coil put a few drops directly down on top of the cotton. Add at least one drop to each side wick hole so the sick can suck it inside. Put the tank together and cover the air holes and take a few draws WITHOUT power to draw suction. I like letting mine sit for a few minutes after this before vape.

If you have the power too high it will also scorch the cotton wick giving a bad taste. When you install a new coil, start low power and take a hit. Then bump the power up and take another . If you do this you have better odds of not scorching the wick. Every juice has a different "sweet spot" as to how each individual enjoys it, you just have to search. If it gets too warm tastes funny or starts to taste burnt then back it down.

Good luck.
