Need help !!

Recently bought a kanger protank 2 (authntic) from a local vape shop got about 20 ft from the shop and decided to open it.

I then proceeded to put in a coil fill it with juice and make sure every thing was tight I then left it sit for about 5 minutes to let wick get saturated i then went to take a hit when juice start spluttering out into my mouth I though the coil had just flooded and I took out the coil and blew trough it and juice started flyin out trough the end of it

I brought back to the shop and the guy there couldn't make out what was wrong he then gave me another one as he could not make out the problem same thing happend he took the whole thing apart and put it back tougher and he got same result for a finish he gave me my money back

Should I buy another protank or are thy all the same if so could ye tell me how to fix this and what was the problem I was having ?

From my guess it wasnt the tank itself it was the coil. The coil was bad and wasnt cooking the juice so when you went to take a hit all you got was juice. You would be fine getting another Protank 2 and getting some more coil heads. They Protank 2 coil heads are pretty cheap.

Pretty common issue with the coils. Try the Aspire Nautilus. Seems to be pretty reliable. I use it in addition to others and haven't had any issues.

My guess is you were sucking hard on it.

It's a bottom coil so it's harder for liquid to sputter upwards to the mouth plus get past the chimney spire.

Sucking to hard tends to also flood the coil.

Check the rubber gasket on the coil and make sure its pressed down all the way. If that doesn't work I would try a new coil. Sometimes you get duds but it isn't often.

That is too bad. Even worse they could not figure it out for you.
I use them all the time and never experience problems.
But I use my own coils and cotton.

Cliff also make sure when you're disconnecting the base from the tank that you check that the coil is fully screwed in. The Kanger coils have a habit of coming undone.

I have had issues with these tanks myself, honestly. If you want a good tank, that won't leak and has amazing flavor and vapor production get a kayfun or kayfun lite. You can't go wrong with this tank! I've tried a LOT of tanks some work well for a bit then start to leak or flavor just isn't there.this is just not the case with the kayfun. I can honestly say it's one of the best tanks I've ever used ! You won't ever have a problem with leaking and the vapor and flavor with the kayfun is just amazing!! I know it is a rba however it is a very easy build. I wick mine with sterile cotton and when I vape the flavor is just like eating a candy. It is that great. And the kayfun will give you a nice dense vapor. If you are tired of messing with leaky tanks and having to buy coils and replace them it might be time to consider a rba like kayfun. The difference is night and day and you won't regret it for a second!! It's really a great tank. You might consider making the switch. I am bringing this up because I think it will really improve your vaping expirence. I know it improved mine. I got so tired of trying all these tanks that would work for a bit, then start leaking or they wouldn't give me any flavor. I decided to try the kayfun and I'm so glad I did! I don't have any more tank problems now. I understand building is not for everyone but if your willing to give it a try, I think you would be very happy with the kayfun. Protanks are usually decent tanks. Lots of people using them. Id say bad coil. Any coil I buy that dosent leak when its bad I save it to rebuild. I had a couple bad coils in a box i had bought a while back.
