It is hard to describe in words, but I'll try.
The idea is to have each wrap of the coil neat and tidy. They should all be the same inner diameter, and they should all be touching each other, if that's what you prefer. To keep the coils together, you install the coils into your atomizer, then without wick, squeeze quickly (pulse fire), and squeeze the coils together while they're still red hot. Once you've done this enough with each coil, they should all start to glow red at the same time, starting from the inside of the coil and spreading outwards.
When you wick, pick off a 1cm x 5mm x (length does not matter) piece of cotton, and take one end and roll it to a point. Leaving the rest untouched, you thread the pointy end through the coil, being careful not to burn yourself, and pull it through enough until you have at least 3cm on either end not including that pointy end. Then cut to length and tuck the ends underneath the coil.
I found the link to the tutorial I made previously for a different kind of coil. The method for wrapping the coil is still the same. For wicking, I might be able to put something else up later if you're still really confused. Make sure you know your safety before you do this though. Really.

This might help too if you haven't already seen it.

Lastly, my concern is that if you're new to vaping, are you getting ahead of yourself? Are you not complicating matters that are already really convoluted?
