Well I don’t squonk so I’m not sure how valuable my opinion will be. I’m sort of halfway between a MTL vaper and a big cloud guy. I like to vape single coils at around .5 ohm. 6 wraps of 22ga kanthal on a 3.5mm mandrel should do that. 2 coils just like that and you’ve got a pretty puffy rig, lower the wire gauge to 26ga and you have a kind of metal rig. I vape 12mg which is pretty strong for a cloud rig. Or many people who take a puff off my vape for that matter

I use Origen Little 16 clones on my Reo Grands. I build them with a 5-wrap single coil between the posts using 28-ga kanthal, 5 or 6 wraps at 2.5-mm. Not sure what the resistance is, but I'm guessing around an ohm, give or take.

I used the Little 16 with the dual airflow set to the largest openings and get a restricted direct lung hit.

Battery life is pretty darn good with the smaller gauge wire, and vapor production is satisfying - not huge clouds, but good enough for me. If you want more vapor and warmth you could try the same coil with 26-ga kanthal, which would lower the resistance and give you more wire mass, but shorter battery life.

Hi everyone.Im trying to bring new life in my old reo and am curious what ohm range you use on your rda coils and what nicotine strength you use.Thanks.

I'm not a REO user.

But for a Single Battery Mech Squonker, I like to use a 26ga SS 0.35 Ohms 3mm Single Coil in a NarDa RDA.

All my Squonkers have 9mg/ml Unflavored in their bottles. And I do Flavored Wicks when do a New build. And occasionally to give them a Flavor Boost.

I have a original reo will I be able to use a 22mm or 24mm aty and if not can I use a adapter to get it past the lip of the juice well.

The original Reo Grand will only accept smaller diameter RDAs (14mm?). A 510 adapter with a hole in the center would work but the RDA will sit way above the mod.

Otherwise you will need a Low Profile (LP) Grand or a P67.
