Need helping thinning my mix

I've been using a 20VG/80PG (straight no water) mix for a long time and it worked great with dripping, I've recently bought the new BCT heating coils from Volcano and they seem to clog really fast with my liquid ratio. I bought a bottle of their Premium USA liquid and it is way thinner than my stuff and doesn't clog the coils. My question is, do I need to be trying a 90/10 mix or adding water? I thought I would ask for some pointers before I start trying to figure out my mix.

Alot of different things can clog your coil. Heat, sugar content to name a few. What juice is the 20 80? I drip 30/70 PG/VG all day everyday and it doesn't clog the coils. Please provide some more infor. Atty, mod and such. Welcome to ECF BTW!

Also depends on what coils. A lot of variables out there. Fun to tinker, though.

20 VG. 80 PG should be plenty thin unless you meant 20 PG 80 VG. If that's the case you can use distilled water/ vodka/ or PGA to thin your juice.

Seeing as how the viscosity of a 50/50 vg/pg mix is generally the industry standard, I would have to say 80% PG is perfectly fine and there are other issues afloat.

If that was a typo and the ratio is flipped to 80% VG, I would add 10% distilled water and maybe 2% pure grain alcohol or or some saline for good luck.
