A friend gave me a bottle Wizard Labs Nicotince solution 36% MG/ML 100% PG mix and alot of 0 nic battles of different flavored made juice. like NicQuid, NicVape, Innevape E liquid to name some.

I have been reading til I am so confused, I have to ask. I am going to make it 12mgs for use using if I can the 0 nic bottle of juice.

Do I consider the 0 Nic juice as a flavor using the calculator?
or the PG/VG? (2nd line below)

36mg) Nicotine E-Liquid3.3333 ml66.67 drops33.33 %
PG/VG5.1667 ml103.33 drops51.67 %
Water/Vodka/PGA0 ml0 drops0 %
Enter Flavor Name1.5 ml30 drops15 %
Totals10 ml200 drops100 %
12 mg Nicotine per ml

Should I buy some VG, 0 nic? (Guess i should so I can start DIYing myself...)

all 0 nic bottles are 10 to 15 mls.
looks like 50/50, 70/30 blends.

any suggestions are welcomed.

Yes, I know I need to buy alot of safety gear, bottles, and other stuff I if get into DIYing.

I do have to thank everyone for all the information in this grouping, even if my head is spinning.

Thanks.

I don't mean to be a jerk, but I don't think I would be doing you a favor by answering. It seems as though you would benefit more by doing some research and learning about how to mix. It can be dangerous, all though at 36mg you probably won't do to much damage. The fear is if you decide to buy higher strength. Read and learn before mixing.

Here is a response that may help you get on your journey....being that I feel guilty not helping out.

Your bottle of nic is either PG or VG or a combination of PG/VG.
If you want to lower the nic, you would need to add either PG or VG or PG/VG.
Flavoring is usually PG.

The calculator above is showing you using a 36mg nic. It is showing that a PG or VG or PG/VG added with a 15% flavor will give you the 12mg you are looking for.

I have been using recipes at about a 10%-15% flavoring. I also vape at around 6mg. So to make things easy, I have made a base of 7mg nic. (100ml at a time) That way, once I add my flavoring I am at around the 6mg. Once I find a recipe I really like, I make it at a larger scale and make it from scratch with a 6mg end result. I use 100mg mic and being that I don't like messing with it more then I have to, I find it easy to make a large batch of VG/PG at 7mg that I use for all my experimenting.

As far as my vg/pg ratio, I like it around 50/50. During the winter, being that I work outside in the cold a lot, I will probably up the pg to help with wicking in a tank.

Put in your 0 nic liquid as either PG or VG depending on what base it is. Don't put in a flavor (make flavorless, in other words, since your flavoring is already in your 0 nic mix).

Fortunately, it's pretty hard to seriously hurt yourself with 36 mg/ml, but I'd still wear gloves and do this near the sink to wash off spills instantly. Until you're comfortable with DIY and proper safety, don't go any higher than that.

Thanks for the answer, no way I am going any higher (36nic) til I understand this all more. Just adding nic to the bottles of 0 nic I was given. I plan to research this a lot more before I start from scratch DIYing. This should get me comfortable with small uses and mixing, plus getting all my supplies and safety gear..

1ml of 36 mg/ml plus 2ml of 0mg/ml will give a total of 36mg in 3 ml which is 36/3= 12mg/ml liquid.

So mix 1ml of the 36 to 2ml of the 0.
10ml of 36 to 20ml of 0.
