The MVP has nothing to do with the leaking. The MVP isn't what is doing the leaking. It's the juice delivery devices that need to be looked at.

For example, the cartos. I assume you take them off your mod to fill them, right? And, do you blow through them into a tissue after filling to make sure any extra juice is cleared out before attaching them to your mod?

It should be nigh-impossible for iclears to leak as far as I know. Maybe you're using a 100% PG juice or it's watered down. Try a 50/50 pg/vg juice. I suspect you might be overdripping into your atty. I don't use dripping attys but you should invest a few bucks in a drip shield. From what I know a dripshield is a sleeve with o-rings that keep the overflow in the atty. Under normal circumstances you shouldn't drip more than 3, maybe 4 drops.
My clearos never leak unless I leave them in the car on a hot day or keep them around sources of heat. The heat makes the pressure rise in the tank, forcing out the juice from wherever it can escape.
Remember that with clearos some of the vapor will always condensate inside your airflow tube and might end up as a few drops on your battery connection if you leave it standing for a while.

Izan is right..... Always, ALWAYS have a back-up device. Or a few back ups lol. iClears seemed finicky to me and didn't have enough airflow out of the box for my liking. as far as leaks go you'll have to experiment. Currently I'm playing around with an RSST that leaks so I pick up tips on youtube others have posted.

Leaks or no leaks, still better then smoking bud...And gratz on quiting:)

have you given the o-ring's a check, got an iclear with my first setup and it's been working great, almost rivals my protanks in terms of pull. Sometimes they can get unseated after cleaning or over tightening. also as others have mentioned here, it is imperative you get another couple devices for backups. get some ego batts at least. keep up the fight, on day 8 myself, it does get easier, and try not to let a faulty rig get you down or frustrated, it's all part of the journey that is vaping.

Hello and welcome :) the iclear 16 unscrews at the bottom for atomizer head replacement, and it's pretty easy to do on accident. I've done it a few times. Getting e liquid in the center hole when filling can cause some issues as well. Have a paper towel handy and blow into the threads to clear it out. Make sure everything is screwed on and not loose or wobbly. Like the others said dripping can get messy, and you may want a drip shield. Keep some q tips handy for wiping down threads. Everyone here was new at some point, and it takes a bit of time to get used to equipment. Hope things start looking up for you.

wow didnt think about that with the cartos what about the iclears and stingray? im assuming i can do that with the stingray to but i kinda just wanted to drip into it or i wouldnt have spent money on that and just got more cartos.

Any cartomizer or clearomizer needs to have the airway cleared after filling. A dripping atomizer, obviously not.

The best way to keep a dripper from leaking is to use a drip shield in conjunction with a Sealed Extension. And, of course, try not to over-drip.

The iclears (and all juice delivery devices) are touchy. Just make certain all pieces are tight (bottom gnurled part, inner coil assembly, top mouthpiece), and that you don't fill above the top line). Also watch as condensation does build up. About halfway down, I tilt the moutpiece of the iclear into some napkin or tissue to allow the condensation to drain. They are small devices and the heating up creates the condensation.

Most vaping devices are... fiddly. Nature of the beast, no matter the beautiful results.

I am something of an expert at leaking and have learned that if a device has the potential to leak, I can get it to pour. That's the bad news. The good news is that it's easy to fix the leaks, to learn to prevent the leaks, and to clear up and stop the leaks. Recommend you review Youtube review videos on your specific toppers and that will help you with understanding where, why and how they leak. Once you learn and implement these "corrections", it becomes, in time, second nature, and I don't even notice it anymore, correcting as quickly as it may happen. I certainly don't get frustrated any more. Given the heat, the pressure, the liquid, and the relative inexpense of these devices, you are going to get leaking. Being a happy vaper is learning how to correct these issues as they occur. I'm in love with vaping, and grateful beyond words that I no longer smoke. My 19th attempt at quitting was vaping. I haven't looked back, and I'm certainly willing to learn the ropes, so to speak, about the gear, and how to use it. Good luck to you, enjoy your videos, Power up and Vape On!
