So, I have 750ml of 60mg nic.

If I vape ~120ml/month at 6mg, how long *should* that last me?

I've got: 120*.06 = 7.2

That's 7.2ml/month * 12 months = 86.4ml/year

I've got: 750*60/10 = 4500 6mg/ml doses

So, would 4500/86.4 = 52 years. That's not right.

OR, it's just 750ml/86.4ml = 8.68 years

My math has gone all pear shaped... :-(

I think one thing that Makes Everything so Confusing to Many is the way we write how much Nicotine is in a given amount of Liquid Volume.

Your Nicotine Base you said was 750ml @ 60mg. 60mg isn't the Full way to write it. 60mg/ml is Actually how it should be written. But No One Does.

60mg/ml means that there is 60 Milligrams of Nicotine in Every 1 Milliliter of Volume.

So the Total Amount of Nicotine in your 750ml Bottle of Nicotine Base is 750 x 60 = 45,000 Milligrams of Nicotine.

And you said you use 120ml of 6mg/ml a Month. So the Total amount of Nicotine you use a Month is 120 x 6 = 720 Milligrams of Nicotine.

Thus 45,000 (Total amount of Nicotine you have) / 720 (Nicotine per month) = 62.5 Months. Or about 5.2 Years.

I know you Already had you Answer on this from another Member. But I wrote this for Anyone Else who might read this and was confused on How the Math Works.

Thanks, zoiDman. I had ALMOST arrived there, but not quite. I had divided the 45000 by 10, thinking that 60mg/ml divided by 10 would get me to 6mg/ml. Heck, I don't know where I got lost. Haha.

Disclaimer - these numbers are for mixed liquid that comes out perfectly vapeable every time. This does not, and will not, account for shameful concoctions that get put in the circular file.

Hey No Problem.

Sometimes what makes doing a Math Problem like this Confusing is when the Numbers are Multiples of themselves.

If a person has a 60 and a 6, they think that there should be a 10 Floating around somewhere. But are Unsure how it fits in.

I bet if you used 18mg/ml e-Liquid instead of 6mg/ml that it would have been Less Confusing. Because 18 Doesn't go into 60 Evenly.
