I have been reading on here for a while and although I have found an abundance of information, when I go to place an order I am at a loss. I would like someone to give me a complete list of exactly what I will need in order to start using the e cig. I am looking at using one that is the easiest to use but that also has a similar inhale of a cig. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:)

No syringe needed. The end cap on the mouth end pops out and you can drip eliquid into the stuffing. I use thin juices high in PG like 80PG/20VG - soaks right in.

What strength cigarettes do you smoke? Full strength, lights or ultralights? I don't recommend 24mg on a KR8 unless you are smoking full strength cigs. 18mg should feel more similar to lights.

And I recommend manual batteries if you plan to be refilling the cartomizers to get days of use out of each. Juice leaks can more easily damage or kill auto batteries. And manuals make it easier to get a good hit.

He said similar inhale, not size. I started with kr808 (cig lookalike) and they didn't work well enough at all, not to say there aren't people that they work for. Cig sized devices hit weaker and only work for ~2hrs b4 needing a charge.

Here is everything I recommend for an awesome vaping experience (before getting into mods of course):

From Liberty-flights (click the 20% discount in upper left):
Riva Lite Kit: $29.99

From crystalclearvaping.com
15 pack of Resurrector cartomizers: $21.50 (free shipping, free driptip), I use two of these a week (and I could easily use them longer), they hold a lot of juice at a time for a cartomizer (2 ml) and are the best cartomizer for ego/riva batteries that I've found.

Juice from a dedicated juice vendor, this is your choice though. Some companies to look into are rawrvapor (they do a great job with menthol, they recommend a menthol option for all their juices), pinkspotvapors for the best drink flavored juice I've found (they are former bartenders as I recall, I recommend their Pink Spot and Tahiti Breeze juices), for a good value try thevaporroom.net (have a special every week with 4 different flavors priced @ $10 for 30ml).

The driptip from the 15 carto deal lets you try dripping on the atomizers that come with the riva kit. The Riva kit also includes cartridges but nobody uses cartridges. Soon enough youll find you're either a dripping person or a cartomizer person (I happen to be a cartomizer user).

To add, the Rivas are 750 mah, most cig sized devices are 180 mah. 100 mah = ~1 hr of vaping. The Riva isn't too much larger than a cig anyway (imo). Heres a pic for comparison with the tab of a coke can. Rivas come in many color options. The metal piece with the indents on it is a dripshield from empiremods and does not come with the kit, nor is it needed for cartomizers, I just like the look of it. The riva kit does include a piece that (if you use it) covers a cartomizer though.

My G6 gets a nearly identical hit compared to the marb light menthols I was smoking, but for a full flavor type of hit I would agree with reprisal. Especially if you want to go no nic. Dual coil and LR cartos would def be the way to go.

As far as my battery life, I get about 4-6 hours of semi heavy vaping personally. My bats are rated at 280 mah, but seem to last a descent amount of time and I have a PCC to keep them charged.

I have a Riva510 kit on the way for more bat life, but like my 808 for being a little more discreet at work.

+1 for liberty flights. Most juice vendors offer their liquids at 0mg nicotine. FreedomSmokeUSA is a very good vendor with alot of choices. Since you've been off the analogs for 4 mos, I would suggest skipping the tobacco flavors :) Most of us quickly realize that we like pastry and fruit flavors over tobacco flavors anyway. Cartomizers are indeed the way to go for an easy no muss/fuss getting started kit. I believe LF offers boge 2.0 cartomizers. I can't recommend their juice only because I've never tried it. The lower the # on the cartomizer or atomizer signifies resistance. The lower the resistance the more throat hit you will get.

Both LF and FSUSA are sponsored vendors and have links to their websites in their threads. Good luck with your first order! I remember when I started it was so overwhelming and I actually had to make about 3 first orders :)

Just a note, you get a FREE 15ml bottle of juice of your choice the first time you order from TVR, so specify in their comments (or w/e its called) when you order what flavor (and strength etc) you want for free.

More details about that particular sweet cherry juice, just read up on it, someone said the flavor is somewhat weak and they regret not boosting the flavor. I haven't tried that flavor myself though. I personally always get the Single flavor shot option when I order from them. Some people prefer a more subtle flavor though, it's your choice.

That is all you need to get started, but a kit with cartomizers instead of carts and an atty will probably be easier with upkeep. Click the discount link on liberty flights(if you order from them) before you add the items to your cart. I ordered the carto deluxe kit which is 42.99 and will drop down to about the price of the Lite kit with the discount. A low resistance cartomizer should give you a better hit with more flavor than a standard atty.

nkr501, their order already has 15 resurrector cartomizers in it, and they outperform the Boges that come with the carto delux kit, and this is coming from a long time Boge 2.0 fan. Resurrector hits harder on a a riva and holds more than twice the juice of a Boge. (On a provari however, Boge 2.0's at 5 volts hit amazing, but still dont hold enough juice imo)
