I have been using a Tornado and a Gemini 510 kit as a back up and have come to the realization I want more!!! More vapor, more flavor. I have tried LR attys, cartos, PG juice......still looking.
I like my 510s and they are working great but what is next. If I could double my Tornado's output that would be :headbang:

So are there any mods to try with my 510 stuff or am I looking at a new kit???? Where do I get what I need.......thanks in advance!!!!!!

If all is working right, I don't think you'll double the vapor output of the Tornado, but you can increase it by going to a 14500 3.7V batt mod and using either a regular or LR 510 atomizer. That, other than a double barrelled mod is about as good as you can get. If you increase Voltage, then you'll have to increase resistance (ohms) with HV attys or you'll just burn out the 510 atomizers. You can get the same amount of vapor with 5 and 6 volts, it's just that you won't be able to use your 510 attys with them. So, no need for the extra expense - use what you have and get a 3.7v mod that uses a non-proprietary rechargeable batt like the 14500 or similar. The 10440 doesn't hold peak voltage all that long.

Suggest starting off at the low end with either a nicostick box mod @$30 or a Bartleby @$50 fit for the 510 atty and see how that goes. More expensive is the Protege @$80 basic kit. There are others here:

If you like the look and feel of the Tornado, you may want to try one of the enhanced clones, e.g., AbsolutelyEcigs' Absolute MaxX ("4.2V"*, 650 mAh), EastMall's and NHaler's Riva (750 mAh), or MadVape's and Vapor Country's Hello 016 (1300 mAh).

* I've read that the MaxX is no more 4.2V than any other true 3.7V battery, i.e., it starts out as 4.2V fully charged, then gradually drops down to 3.2V before demanding recharge. However, the Joye 510 and eGO/Tornado batteries are not true 3.7V batts (more like 3.2V), so it would be an improvement.

But if you are not getting the experience you want even with an LR atomizer, you probably won't with increased voltage. Lower resistance or higher voltage accomplish the same thing: increasing the power (watts), experienced by the vaper as stronger vapor, flavor, and throat hit. [If you try to do both, you'll burn out your atty as Kent mentioned.]

The answer may lie in the e-liquid. VG-based juice will increase vapor (although not necessarily flavor). And simply other flavors and/or different e-liquid manufacturers may do the trick.

Another direction to go would be to try a different model e-cig (i.e., different atomizer used on any type of good battery). The Vapor4Life Premium Kr8 cartomizer (blank, filled with my favorite e-liquid), which I am vaping as I type this, is churning out tons of vapor and good flavor. And I've read that VaporNine's Turbo cartomizers may be even better.

In addition to Don's and Kent's good hardware advice, I would suggest looking into different flavored juices. I would recommend some sites, but I make all my own juices DIY...and my vapor and flavor is excellent. Look into getting perhaps stronger flavors either as VG juices, or at least juices with some VG added for vapor. I have heard great things about Mrs.T's, Tasty Vapor, and Cignot's Ecopure line. Lots of others. Nhaler offers high voltge juices which have extra flavor.

Some folks say VG masks flavor, but I would not call the VG juices I make masked at all. DIY is really the way to go for me. I'm vaping a rich and delicious blueberry cheesecake juice right now on a 3.7V Bartleby, and its fantastic! :D
