So I'm looking at getting a new mod since my Kanger mini (storm trouper edition) is acting up. I can't get the tank to screw on, and I tried a different Kanger mini tank and same thing. I'm looking at getting the IPV D3. Will be using my Kanger mini tank with it. Anyone have it, and is it a yay or a nay on it? I've had two Kanger mods that have gone bad on me, one being the KBox and the latest the Kanger Mini mod, so I'm staying away from them. I'm looking at getting new batteries to go with it. Mine are about a year old and are Efest 18650's 2500 mah. I'm looking at the LG HG2 INR18650 LiMn 3000mAh Battery - 20 Amp and the AW IMR 18650 3000 mah -20 Amp. Which of the two type of batteries would be the best. I have started building coils and they are anywhere from .79 to .94 ohms and I usually run anywhere from 22 to 28 watts depending on which coil.

eVic vtc mini is my daily driver since I picked it up a couple weeks ago. It's at 2237 puffs for a total of 6390 seconds and every single one of those was enjoyable, just hooked up an Arctic V8 mini and it's even better now! Can charge through the USB is a major plus for me since I'm on the road all day, and it's firmware upgradeable. Has exceeded my expectations for sure

I switched from Samsung 25r's to lghg2's and have been very happy with them in all my mods as far as efest never touch their battery's they exaggerate the specs of the battery and they are rewraps of binned lg, Samsung and Sony plus they tend to be same price or even more expensive then buying the branded quality battery's and are worse quality.

Another mod which you should consider is the Reuleaux RX200. Even though it uses 3x18650 batteries its a solid mod. Upgradable firmware, true 200 watt device, 3 TC modes, 3 custom TCR modes, and USB charging. I charge my batteries on a external charger to avoid any issues with the on board charging. Plus the external is quicker. And it looks pretty damn good with a sleeve on it.

I've got the IPV D3. Gotta say the D2 is just as good in my book and available pretty cheap. The finish on my D3 is peeling right off (blue) without as much as a single drop. The mod itself is good. battery door should be a little more stable. I love all my IPV products, except for the finish on any of them.

Thanks everyone for your input. Yesterday afternoon I went ahead and placed an order for the IPV D3 and the LG HG 2 batteries. Sucks that the paint is not so great. My Kanger mod and tank (white) look brand new and I've seen peoples that look all beat up. Well atleast my tank still works and has never leaked like others I hear of. Just the threading on the mod won't take any of my tanks except my nautilus mini's that I never use anymore.
