Alright, so I've finally given up on auto 808 batteries. That is to say, I'll keep them around for novelty, but when it comes to serious vaping, I'm really tired of them. Buying cartomizers has just gotten old.

I'm a little overwhelmed by the other options though. So, I need some suggestions, people!!

Here's what I WANT, in order of priority:

1. A system that gets the most flavor out of TOBACCO e-juices. (I think a lot of my bad experiences with tobacco flavors has been due to the poor quality of my setup and I want to try again.)

2. I want to be able to see how much juice I have left (so I'm not getting foul tastes from dry hits.)

3. Doesn't look totally absurd.

Hi Calam,

You did not mention what your budget for this is, so I kept my starter kit recommendations as cost effective as possible and I would highly recommend one of two kits:

1. Kanger Evod Starter Kit. It is about the cheapest 2 battery kit available, and has great reviews. Many people like the EVODs, but they aren't high on my personal list. While you can see the juice level, it isn't always easy as the slots in the side are a bit thin, and they are plastic which doesn't always hold up well to cinnamon or other strong juices.

2. Kanger Mini Protank 2 Starter Kit -VV. This is arguably the better kit, as it includes VV batteries, and Protank 2 minis, however it is almost twice the cost. The big advantage is in the tanks, they are pyrex and easy to see juice levels, with the additional advantage of holding up to cinnamon and other strong juices that can damage plastic tanks.

If neither of these kits looks like it would work for you, then there are many other options out there. You can find a lot of info on this in the forums here.

HTH!

If you want to keep with 808 threading, and be able to use things between you ciga likes and bigger pv, smokeless image has 808 threaded ego, spinners and now even MVP2. You can even buy some clearos that will fit on both the bigger batteries and you cigalikes. Their pricing is reasonable and they have frequent sales. Its totally up to you. If you don't mind me asking, what brand where you using?

If you are serious about upgrading and want to know what setup to get to best take advantage of vaping net tobaccos I would read and post in these two threads. There are experts that post in these threads every day and they live and breathe net tobaccos. They will give you the best advice. They are also pretty neat people. You will learn a lot and they are willing to teach.

Vaping net tobaccos may require a little different care in choosing your equipment. The juices tend to be darker and more likely to clog your juice delivery device. I do suggest you do some reading and ask questions. You will be helped.

I like to drip into a 510 atty when I enjoy my tobaccos. The last link is the best and only one you will find to use as your guide. Enjoy!

Keep it simple, Joytech Twists with Kanger EVODs. Satisfies you requirements and are reasonable in costs. Here is a starter kit at a fair price. I would suggest buying an extra charger and a spare pack of heads.

That's outside my price range right now. I decided to go with the Kanger Evod starter kit. Gets solid reviews and picked one up for less than 40 with shipping.

@ Dac311: I'm using V2 Cigs. Their batteries are ok but their juices and cartos are just SO inconsistent it's frustrating. There are only 1-2 flavors they have that I like, but I'm always afraid to order them because I have NO IDEA if I'm going to get a batch that tastes good or bad. It's super frustrating. And I know it's not just me, because they have people complaining about it on their forums all the time. It's the reason I've decided to move on.

Originally I wanted something that looked and felt like a real analog, but I don't care that much anymore. I'm not actually a cigarette smoker, I smoke pipes and cigars, and vape 0 nicotine strength just because it's a healthier option for me when I'm in the mood for a cigar or pipe. I still smoke, but I prefer to moderate it as much as possible and keep it to once a week or less. So when I get in the mood for a pipe but it's been too recent since my last smoke, I just vape.
