So, the top of your coil head is stuck in the bottom of the air tube? And it is bent?
Unfortunately yes. The system is fine, just the coil is bent and with the glass there I have very little room to try and get the coil out.
Yep, I know exactly what you are describing. I have had it happen before but never with the coil bent.
Maybe you could try removing the glass tank from the top instead of the bottom? You should be able to remove the drip tip and then unscrew the top metal part from the glass.

Ok, this is a picture of the upper hardware without the glass tank. That top metal piece should unscrew from the glass tank.

We were all new once and know what a struggle it can be to learn. Glad that I could hopefully help!
The top didn't unscrew. What I think the mechanics aspire thought of was if you needed to get the glass tank off you'd have to take off the bottom and then the coil, then that tank.
Well, darn. I have a full sized and it does unscrew. That was the only idea that I had. The only other thing that I could think of is to do what you have to get it out. If the glass does break, replacement glass is fairly inexpensive.
ETA- The more that I think about it, mine unscrews from the glass but, not from the airtube. Ugh, sorry. I guess that will not work.
Yeah I was just getting ready to buy some replacement glass before I busted open the tank until I realized I had some needle nose plyers in the other room. So I had broken off the bottom of the coil and stuck the needle nose plyers in there vertically, gripping the inside and outside of the coil, and popped it back it place. So now the frustrating little sucker is out and I didn't have to buy new glass haha. Thank you though I do appreciate the response and help you have given so far.
