I know I know..NOT another Boba thread. It's not really a thread about it just about it's terrible wicking capabilities lol. So I have been dripping it a lot lately and it really clogs my bridgeless atties something fierce. Anyone have any suggestions on what to use besides a dripper? I love dripping, I only drip but I don't want to keep ruining atomizers for this juice. Anyone have a suggestion? I was thinking possibly a DCT Carto tank? Dunno... Help needed! Thanks

I have some Boba's in a cartotank, and share your frustration. The carto will wick for perhaps 2 - 3 days and then the draw becomes stiff. Not only is the juice thick, but it has a lot of micro-particulate matter suspended in it which doesn't get vaporized by the atomizer, and ends up accumulating in the tank and clogging whatever wick material the tank uses.

I was going to suggest that you vape your Boba's on an atomizer, but you are already doing that with mixed results it seems. Well, a cartotank or clearotank will likely perform even less.

My last suggestion would be to use a bottom feeder mod if you vape for Boba's. You'll still have the flavor from a drip atomizer but with the convenience of a tank.

You may not be dripping right if it clogs up super fast on a quality atty. Having ruled that out, there is a solution available and for the last 3 months *I* have been surviving, very happily I might add, by making the leap to a completely different mod. The most popular being, Reosmods.com (specifically a Variable Voltage Reo Grand). Here is my first post concerning for the record - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/392249-reo-me.html

Ben, the maker of Bobas Bounty, has already stated for the record that a Reos is part of his ol' tried and true setups. I tried everything I could (delivery device wise) to find a way to use bobas on a provari as easily as my friends who are into less complex juices and if there was, I would not have switched mods. Good luck, brother. Anything is better than the real thing (analogs)

So in conclusion, if you are a bobaholic, get a vvg. Or spend a month and a lot of coin, like I did, to arrive at the same conclusion. And so I don't step on any toes, it doesn't mean I'm saying you cant enjoy BB on a provari with any slew of delivery devices. I was addressing a long-term low-maint way to be a functional bobaholic.

*I denotes some background info on RHP for the reader:
20+ yrs, 2-3 pack a day smoker, cowboy killers
vaping since sept 23, 2012 with a provari
became bobaholic feb 2013
first reo march 2013
vaper iq: moderate (at time of decision)
main rig for the foreseeable future: bottom juice feeding box mods + bobas bounty

Yeah looking into getting a reo...But right now don't have the cash to do so because I'm moving into a new house. I should look into getting something with a bottom feed option. Any cheap options out there that perform decently?
Super T Manufacturing makes an attachment for a tube mod called the Vape Mate, which can turn your tube mod into a bottom feeder. I've never used one, but it's certainly an interesting concept in technology.

I have what is probably the cheapest bottom feeder mod in mass production. Vapage VMod. It doesn't have the build quality of a Reo or Provari, but few PV's do. It doesn't carry those PV's price tag, either. Two sizes are available: a 14500 battery and an 18650 battery model. It comes with its own cartomizer and drip atomizer.

Thanks for the input guys. I have made my decision to purchase the Reo. It makes sense for me to buy a bottom feeder. I only like a couple of juices. I don't switch often and I love a good atomizer vape. I get the best of both worlds here. Convenience of carrying 6ML of juice and the flavor punch of an atomizer :)

When ya order your VVG make sure to add a few of these $1.40 Smok Tech 510 mini single coil 1.7 ohm located in the cartomizer section, they look like attys but don't let the low profile fool you, they crackle like the best of 'em!

They should last up to 2-3 weeks each but if you vape them like there's no tomorrow, realstically you'll get a week out of each tops. I usually get a week. Never be afraid to ask questions, just make sure you're asking in the right place. All the reo-vets & reo-newcommers alike congregate at -
