Need some advice on the Riva 510

Hi guys I am thinking about getting the Riva 510.


I pretty sure I am going to order a Riva 510 but I am thinking about ordering some cartomizers and and LR attys just to try out along with the kit to see if how I like them.

What do you guys recommend for me to try as far carto & LR attys that would work best for the Riva 510 750mah battery?


Would LR attys work even better with a Riva 510 1100mah kit or would that not matter (for LR attys/vapor/TH) other than battery life?

I use the Boge 2ohm cartomizers with my Riva 510. Any parts that are 510 will work on the Riva. I don't think there is any difference in whether you get the 750 or 1100 except the battery life.

Never did try the Boge 510 2ohm Cartos myself. Might have to remedy that before NYS makes it so I can't.

The Mah rating has nothing to do it output, just the capacity of the battery to hold a charge which gives longer battery life in between charges. It's really not recommended to use LR attys on the Riva and Ego but if you're going to I'd recommend the Boge 2.0 ohm. 2.0 isn't that low and shouldn't stress the mofset to much.

Another Boge 2 ohm carto fan (hmm, seems to be consistent...). I've also had really pleasant experience with vaporsetc 2.6 ohm 808 cartos, using a 510batt-808 adapter. (Tol -- vaporsetc is in, or next to, Rochester, though I don't know if they have the adapters)

A lot of carto fans here I'm going to pipe in to support the LR atties as well.

As a Riva user, I switched to LR atties from Eastmall/Unicig a while back, then discovered Cisco LR 306 atties as well... they work wonders on the Riva if you like to drip.

You can check out Liberty Flights for the LR 510 atties or other US sellers (I think China is closed down for their New Year holiday until some time in early feb) or check out a two pack of Cisco 306 atties @ 20 bucks shipped if you're curious about dripping. AMAZING atties, and the two pack includes the 306 drip tip, just remember to order the drip tip that fits a Riva cone.

Shining & Mlinky thanks for the advice, I just read about 35 very good user reviews omn the B 2.0's at LF looks like the Boge 2.0 ohm are what I am going to try when I order the Riva 510.

I think that I am correct, but LR cartomizers below 2ohms should be used with caution as
they could have the potential to hurt the battery. Big debate as some do and some don't.
I totaly agree with the Boge soft tip brand due to ease of use and filling.

I was wondering if the 1100 mah batteries rating would make a difference on LF attys EM Riva 510 atty ( as in working better) but are saying it will not then and I would still be stressing the moffet to an extent the same as using a 750mah on the R 510?

This is a leaning curve for me but just trying to understand what will work well with the R 510 750 Mah or 1100Mah before I order the R 510.

Ok after reading all the post and advice from you guys I have another question.

It sounds like it is better to use the Boge 2.o ohm carto vs say a LR atty EM 510 or are both these going to have the same effect on the moffet/battery?

Would anyone know or have a link to who has the Boge 2.0 ohm cartos in stock?
