Need some advice on what to do. 900Mah ego battery, 1.7ohm vs 2.0 ohm. DCT vs Jtank

Currently I am using a 900mah ego style smoketek branded battery with a 1.5ohm smoketek carto in a smoketek DCT. I don't like how I have to be extremely careful to avoid spinning and slipping the tank, so I'm looking to buying a jtank. I found a good source for boge 2.0 cartos for dirt cheap, so I'm leaning towards that because I have been reading good things. This would work fine in the JTank which I've been looking into, but I'm concerned that I won't be getting the amount of vapor and THwhich I'm getting out of my 1.5ohm dc cartos. This concerns me even more because I don't believe my batteries are true 3.7v. I believe that I have around 3.3-3.4.

With the thought of me having a 3.3-3.4, I am thinking about the 1.7ohm Resurrectors from CCV. But since these are XL length, they wouldn't fit on the jtank.

So I feel like I'm at a bit of a crossroads right now.

The resurrectors should work fine in the J-Tank, since they're single-coil. Even dual-coils work in the shorter tanks -- see the Arry tank, for instance: it's built for Boges, but works fine with DCs.

I've also seen people have cut down the Smoktech tanks to accept Boge, and they still work with the DC cartos. The coils are pretty low in the carto, and the wicking of the filling seems to allow the shorter tanks to work fine.

Also I have had no luck with the 1.7 smok in a tank. No matter how few or how small the holes are. You can get 1.7 resurrectors smoktechs at mad vapes that are regular size. I use them without a tank and they are amazing on ego type devices. I got a Boge lea passthru battery for about 17 bucks and they really cook on there.

I am thinking about trying pure vg
Juice in them. I also like the 1.2ohm dual coils.

Also you get 1.5 short dual coils now at a couple of vendors.

A DC tank on an Ego will be barely warm double vapor. Egos are 3.4v, not 3.7v but even on 3.7 v, 3 ohms coils are not very warm (a 1.5ohm DUAL coil is two 3 ohm coils)

A 2.0 single coil Boge tank on Ego will have more heat - 2 ohms on 3.4v. it will also use power a bit slower than the 1.5 ohm dual coil.

Very well stated. Many people think that the vapor is warmer with dual coils at 1.5ohm total resistance vs single 2.0ohm. Simply not true. Maybe more vapor on the duals, but temp and battery struggle.
