Yesterday received one 3.5 ml DCT tank from CCV and one 3.5 ml Chibi tank from Parkes. The DCT came loaded with a dual coil carto which I tried then tossed and replaced with a Resurrector. The Chibi comes loaded with a Smoketech LR 1.7 ohm (like a Resurrector). Initial look: DCT is well-finished, appears factory-made. Chibi - perhaps made in a home workshop but is tight at the outset. Both are outstanding on first use. After about an hour, Chibi flooded and I haven't found a fix yet, I will fool with it a bit and look over the forum for more advice. I'm running a 50PV/50VG and may try a 100VG although it's not my favorite. The DCT so far is flawless but I'm sensing the Resurrector may have a shortened lifespan, it's already starting to draw a bit harder after a few hours. BTW, I am using eGo batts which I've had good results from with the Resurrectors (wish I could spell that right every time.) Updates after some more experience.

Comments encouraged, thanks in advance.

I have both my map dc tank came from e-cig city. I haven't used the chibi tank yet. However my map tank o-rings are already damaged. I have already replaced it too. I am scared that these o-rings are going to be a problem with the chibi tanks. Also who sell o-rings that fit the map tank and the chibi so I can stock up/

@ Sugarfoot. I was just about to start a thread asking about the performance of CCVs DCT pared with the Resurrrector. So I thank you for posting this. Just to be sure, are you using CCVs pre-punched Resurrrector, or a regular one you punched yourself? It sound good, but the shortened carto life concerns me. Do you have any idea why this is?

Day 2: Using Resurrector I punched with the saddle valve setup discussed elsewhere on the forum. Works well. Right now the flooding with the Chibi tank may be due to too large a hole - prepunched from the vender. Not yet tried with 100% VG, but as stated my 50/50 mix may be too thin for the size hole they punched. Next step for an honest appraisal will be to use the saddle valve on a resurrector and re-try the 50/50 with the Chibi.

re: shortened carto life: Can't make a solid call yet, Resurrector draw downgraded a bit but hasn't degenerated further today. On my 900mAh eGo batt, the original dual-coil did not measure up to the Ressurector in terms of vapor volume.

Update on Chibi tank: Changing cartos is a pia. Self-punched a hole using the saddle valve to change original short carto to a Resurrector. Seals move easily making it a mess if there is residual fluid in the tank. Lining up the seals, since they move somewhat freely is a pain. That is also what makes it necessary to use a syringe and needle So if you are out and about you need to carry more stuff.
Esthetically the DCT tank looks better on my eGo batts and doesn't catch on my pocket as easily. The shorter length is nice in that my mouth is further away from the tank. Weighing all factors, my wife will be using the DCT tank since it is a little less hassle and she likes it better. I'm stuck with the Chibi and I'm hoping it doesn't come apart in my pocket some day.

Well I have been using both for about a month now, so here's my comments.

Generally I use 70PG/30VG liquids - or 50/50.

Chibi: Using with Boge LR, self-punched, single hole using a saddle-valve. I find that filling by syringe (in the way BlancaMontgomery suggests) is the easiest way to prep this tank for a solid day's vaping. Thinner juices do tend to flood the carto easily but the trick, I am learning, is to draw lightly.

Smoktek DC (from Madvapes): Using the 1.5 ohm, pre-punched DC cartos made by Smoktek. The one advantage of a DC carto is that if a coil burns out one can kick up the voltage (if using VV) and keep vaping. This tank is a lot easier to use than the Chibi - with respect to changing cartos - but I haven't tried completely removing the grommets to thoroughly clean and dry the inside of the tank. I do like the flanged cartos and cut-out in the lower seal, it makes the tank easier to screw-on/off than the Chibi. However, my 50/50 juices don't seem to wick into the carto very well and this increases the risk of filler burning unless one 'primes' by pulling without firing.

Overall - Chibi wins marginally. It's a good little tank that is very well priced. Added to which, the standard length Boge LR seems to be more widely available at a better price (especially in multi-pack deals) than the Smoktek DC.
