I would like to purchase an e-cig kit for my mother and grandmother.

My mother spokes Virginia Slims/Capri, roughly 8-10 cigarettes a day and smoking for 20 years.

My grandmother smokes Marlboro Reds about 10-12 a day and smoking for 45+ years.

What are the best options for them when it comes to e-cigs?

Joye 510 - Dura C, Yeti, Titan (all the same - a 510 atomizer). It's a manual and will get the enough vapor to please the amount of smoking they do. Fairly trouble free. Get some Marlboro juice with it. Doesnt taste like Marlboros necessarily but it's a general favorite. You could go with 'Virginia' for mom. I like the one from freshsmoking... Camel is also a pretty 'safe' flavor. Experiment later ;-)

For the kits and juice too:
Widows Bead Work - E-cig
Joye Dura-C 510 - freshsmoking.com

juice
FS Mrlbro eLiquid - freshsmoking.com
FS Vrgnia Sims eLiquid - freshsmoking.com
FS Camel eLiquid - freshsmoking.com

Half is the PV, the other half is the liquid. The right amount of nic is hard to judge except by the person who uses it, so my suggestion would be to get a variety.

Its also not a cigarette, and while it feels like it in part, and is probably the best solution I've ever tried... its still not a cigarette, and isn't exactly the same. You won't, imo, get a flavor that is the taste of marlboro reds or virginia slims, it will be a bit different. Its best to get a good variety of levels and flavors, get a sampler pack, and let them figure out whats right for them.

Hope this helps!

Ok I need this in English :D. I'm new to all of this stuff and not looking to get crazy with it. My grandmother is about Sixty-something and my mother is 42. Something that is pretty much straight forward in setup to help them reduce smoking half a pack a day.

510

.... at the places I linked.

Advan,
Do you have an Ecig?
If so, Have they tried yours?
Do they want an Ecig?
Do they want to quit smoking 1/2 pack a day?

I know friends who have them and they bought them in order to cut down/quit smoking. They know nothing about it just seeing if they will like it. Was just gonna order one for my mother and then have my grandmother try it since she's a bit more stubborn.

Your Mother and Grandmother are definitely young enough to understand and learn to use a PV. Just make make sure you get them a "manual" switch device so they will get the throat hit and consistency that is most similar to the real thing and without all the reliability issues of the auto switch devices. As others have recommended, I would get the Joye 510 manual or the manual (not regular) DSE901. Here are some reputable suppliers:

Rocky Mountain Vapor you have reached the mountain top of electronic cigarettes! : Home
Heaven-gifts.com Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop

Ok I'll look into these links for now. Thanks guys. I was also looking into the Blu E-Cig since it seemed simple and easy to use or the njoy e-cig?

Big difference between what 'seemed simple and easy' reading it and using it. Read a bit more on those products. For example:

I'll just beat them senseless until they use it.

J/K LOL! :p

Or they will beat you the first time they get juice in their mouth!
That's why I asked if you had one.
I thought the same as you and sent the MIL a 901, some carts and juice, instructions.... The next week she bought a cartomizer unit.... now she's just smoking.
Don't get me wrong, I think you want to do a good thing, but ecigs just aren't simple or straight forward. Alot will depend on whether THEY want to quit smoking.
Good luck though!
