Welcome and Hi :)

First most - we could help you better with a little more info. What is your budget, what are your most desirable features (like variable voltage, long battery life, ohm meter, etc) And what size/shape are you comfortable with? (tube mods, small tube batteries, cig a likes, box mods)

And for juice - you are best off to go through the general e liquid section in the forum and read user reviews of flavors that appeal to you and then get small samplers from those vendors. Also - if you have a B&M (brick and mortar store) nearby you can go there and sample juices. Taste is very subjective and there are 6874638748 flavors - so it is a matter of what appeals to you.

JOYE eRoll Starter Kit - $60.00 : Rocky Mountain Vapor, The Mountain top of Electronic Cigarettes is my suggestion. Use 20rocky as a coupon to get 20% off. I bought several eRoll kits for people that want a cig-a-like e-cig. It's as close to the size of a real cig that you can get (and get a good hit) that I have found so far. This is the only place that I know of that includes the 2nd atomizer cone cover to make 2 full e-cigs. Great customer service too (got a dud charger in 1 kit and they sent the replacement the same day I contacted them). :) :vapor:

I haven't tried any of their liquids, so don't have any input on that.

If you want more info, on the eRoll, go here Joyetech eRoll *Mini*

And WELCOME to ECF!

For some reason, people like to push those beginner pen style starter kits on beginners entering the vaping community. That was my biggest waste of money so far. I was recommended a joytec starter kit for $60, used it for a week, got frustrated, and bought a vamo v3. The $80 worth of cig-a-likes are collecting dust somewhere in my home and I hope I never see them again. Maybe people want us to make the same mistake as them and that's why they recommend those. If you want a vv mod try an MVP you dont need to buy batteries and chargers (like you would a vamo) everything is in the kit and you cant beat the price for the quality you receive. My MVP will last 2 days of straight vaping before it dies.

Madvapes.com

Search their site, they almost always have good coupons lingering around on the internet. Just google madvapes coupons and usually something will come up. They have good prices on mods and starter kits, they sell topvapor eliquid which is pretty good, as well as some other import chinese liquids which really aren't all that bad.

Try looking around on the vendor section oif the forum and get some sampler packs from vendors so you can get a bunch of flavors and see what you like the best instead of just ordering a bunch of larger bottles and spending more money just to test the flavor.

Here is my recommendation for newbies serious about switching

2 VV batteries and 2 Mini Protank 2s

it gives you 2 high quality VV (variable voltage) batteries (which will allow you to dial in the correct voltage for flavor, throat hit, and vapor production - all important in switching successfully) and glass clearomizers which will be compatible with any eliquid out there (some flavors will "crack" plastic clearomizers)

and for eliquid

NicQuid

5 Pawns

and a less expensive eliquid

Mt Baker Vapor

hope this helps

oh, and welcome to the ECF
