I have had great success with the Mini DID Clones that I got from China so I figured I'd step up and get the real deal. I received my full size DID and have had little success with it thus far. I have tried fat wicks with huge holes down the center as well as skinny wicks with tiny holes down the center. I have used 30, 32, 34 gauge Kanthal wire. I keep getting the same results each and every time. Little to no vapor with a strange flavor. I'm familiar with dry hits and shorts and hot spots and the tastes that they produce. This is really neither. I just want the $140 I spent to perform as well as the $12 I spent. I can completely fog a room with my mini did clones but the actual full size DID would take me a day or better to fog a room. Also, I can wrap a setup on my mini did clones and have it vaping just fine in about ten minutes of break in time. I have a current 1.4ohm coil with 325 SS Mesh running at 3.7v with a 65/35 PG/VG ratio. The same setup on a mini clone is absolutely flawless.
Am I missing something in setting this up or what? I expected to be able to make a wick and coil and vape my face off. This is not happening.
