Need some help Canada

Hi All,
After looking at some beautiful bottom feeder type mods, I realize that I would love to own one. So here's the issue.. it seems there are no Canadian made box mods out there. I do realize that I could take a chance and try purchasing from the States, but between customs, added HST, duty, etc. I choose not to.
So I guess what I'm wondering is, are there any Canadians out there making these that I possibly missed in my search? I'm thinking the next step is to post in the Canadian Classified section, but really, how many people who own one are willing to sell it? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Oh also, I apologize if this question has been addressed elsewhere.

I made many purchase from the states (hardware, PV, nicotine, ejuice) and the customs never bothered me. My last package from health-cabin even got opened by the customs but they didn't charge me anything, so in my experience, it's pretty safe to buy from the states.

You really don't have much to worry about when ordering from the US.. especially if your not ordering juice.

And FYI

My Ali'i and Phidias had no tax charged at all.

Thanks Zurd. From what I've read it seems to be hit and miss. Some people have no problems, and then I read about one person losing $200.00 in hardware. I really can't afford those kind of problems.

If your referring to who I think you are the place he bought the mod added a 5ml of free juice witch is what got the package stopped. When I order from nHaler I make sure to put in my notes "no free juice and no mention of anything e-cig - this is going to Canada"

Not sure about the REO but the Ali'i and Phidias makers don't do e-liquid so no worry there.

Canadian Reo Owner Here. There are a couple of us that have had them shipped up without any issue. Mine only took 8 days to get up here, and wasn't even opened at all. Rob packs all his mods without any mention of e-cig anything, just looks like an electronics project probably. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hook up a Reo.

Rodleland - Lucky! I stalked the Reo thread for a few days and figured it would be nearly impossible to get my hands on one. That compounded by the thread I read here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/canada-forum/142058-customs-hit-miss.html made me think there was no point in even trying. Something to think about..why doesn't anyone in Canada make these mods?? I am happy to say that Freeflow was nice enough to sell me his old Phidias.

Nice Kimme, i'd have to say im one of the lucky ones as well... multiple shipments of hardware from the US and even more juice orders. All fine.

Very nice Inked! I have to say that hearing many of you have had no problems with customs is definitely reassuring. I guess my next hardware purchase will probably be from the US. I still wouldn't press my luck with juice though. Murphy's Law and all that..

I have seen his Phidias, I think you are going to like it. Also, not having to wait a month to get it is also a nice bonus.

For hardware orders from the US - there should be no problem with Customs if you don't include a juice order. Be sure to let the company know to send the hardware without any liquids at all - or pre-filled carts.

Yes I watched his video review on it..very pretty! Just waiting for his repy with a tracking number so I can start stalking my postal guy =)

True enough and thanks Kat! Unless your willing to do a lot of travelling, you must do a fair amount of ordering from the US/China.
