Hi Guys, I am getting into the genesis style atomizers and need some help decide what to get. Well till now i have a steam machine gini update but have not tried that yet so anything below that should not be an option. I have all kinds of mesh (325, 400, 500) and I mainly vape 100% VG (Boba's Bounty) so maybe i need some U-wick ready atomizer? What do i go for?
-Z-Atty
-DID
-DID Clone (which one anyway?)
-Foggatti type 22
-Hellfire (I think they are not made anymore)
-Cobra
-Genesis (is there an original genesis atomizer?)

I know such questions are frowned upon, but still cannot decide

Not frowning. The bliss has two wick holes. Dfw ratank can be set up with a U wick. The Ac9 is a contender as well. I would recommend getting an inexpensive atty and practice your builds before buying one that requires significant investment. That way you can determine what type of build and size you would like. Good luck.

-Z-Atty Hard to get, good CNC quality , 316LVM Surgical Implant Grade stainless steel ( superior to the default 306 steel ) Fused Quartz tank ( will not crack, but is not pyrex )
-DID inferior 304 steel , high level CNC , tank is not clear , IMO not worth it anymore
-DID Clone (which one anyway?) performance wise they vape the same , but wont last long because of the quality of the threading and the usually poor CNC job , also poor metals are used ( not all SS are the same ) but usually worth the 20-40$ mark
-Foggatti type 22 High end , good quality CNC and plastic , IMO over engineered , he used one of the most expensive types of plastic ever made but still used 304 steel ...
-Hellfire (I think they are not made anymore) heard good things ... no experience
-Cobra perfect CNC ( on titanium is harder ) , titanium + pyrex , basically the best genesis atty made to this point in a pure mechanical sense
-Genesis (is there an original genesis atomizer?) ???

I know such questions are frowned upon, but still cannot decide

basically you have to understand that everything vapes the same , the vape cares not if it's coming from titanium or surgical grade steel or pyrex or plastic tank .. it's about prestige and the durability of the atty and it's connection to the battery via threading , performance wise it's controlled through air hole size - you can drill that, and the SS mesh and coil - you control that , so all that's left is the quality of the CNC and how long you want it to last.

so in the long ( very long ) run you better off with quality over quantity.
if you are new to genesis then better get something cheap to experiment with until you have some experience making coils , search for the 500# SS mesh thread somewhere around here for information about mesh types and configurations , and use 28 gauge kanthal . I figure if you are not used to any particular routine ... get used to the best ones.

what ever you get make sure to boil it in water ( change the water and boil again in new water ) 2-3 times to remove any oils and micro imperfections from the CNC job ...
