I recently purchased a Tobh clone and realized afterwards this was a 5 post quad coil build. I have since read that quad coils are not much better if not worse than a dual coil build due to intense heat and is only good for chucking vapor and not taste/quality vaping.

My question is - can I use only 2 of the posts and do a Dual Coil build on a Quad Coil atty? Or is there some reason I have to use the other 2 posts?

Here is the Atty I bought if you are curious - https://www.fasttech.com/p/1712104

I believe you only need to use the post you need to set up your build. So if you want to build a dual coil you can. The extra posts in the atty are there for multiple configuration options. For example, I have an igo m. It has 2 pos and 2 neg. I can build a single, dual or quad coil. I would never use this atty to build a single coil but a dual coil is do able. I use it for a quad coil builds at .3 ohms and the flavor is good and it is not as hot as you would think.....
