Hey guys, finally was able to order a few Viva Nova's + Phoenix BC 3ml but having a few issues.

So far the Phoenix has been great but I seem to have a slight leak. Its not dumping juice out but kinda dribbles so I have to clean the battery connector every hr or so when vaping. Also get gurgling.

Tried with 2 3ml Phoenix BC and both seem to do the same thing.

My 2nd Phoenix BC seems to have a weird taste that comes and goes. Still trying to get through the first tank (to make sure its not the primer) but its a weird savory aftertaste. Like waffles or something.

Also are the BC Phoenix 3ml marked for ohm-age? I got them unmarked and I have no idea which are which.

I followed all the videos on filling them. Did the whole upside down thing (first tank is on its 3rd refill and it still dribbles, did it from its first tankfull).

Used the needle I was supplied with and a smaller tipped one I had in storage.

On the Viva Nova, I'm getting a super tight draw on all my devices.

If the Viva Nova is unscrewed, I have a super tight draw. Plug it into any of my devices and it is super wiggly. To get it to not wiggle I have to tighten it all the way down but than I get reduced air flow.

Not sure if its supposed to have this tight of a draw (saw from reviews it was tighter but didn't expect this tight).

Any and all help would be great.

Also, anybody who ordered the GV's ceramics tips, is the back end super rough? The edges seem to catch on everything I have and grind pieces off. Not sure if that's normal for these drips (they were kinda cheap I guess).

Hey there, when filling my phoenix bc's I fill up my syringe, and push them syringe through the small hole with the phoenix pointing up the whole time, then I will it out while it is still pointing up. Also try not to fill it full just till the liquid touches the metal at the top. As far as the vivi novas I thought mine were to light of a draw so I plugged the air holes maybe you could put a needle in there and try and open it more. I have one vivi nova that is wiggly and I have to use it with an adapter its apparent that the machining of the threads could be more precise. Also my ceramic drip tip that came as a freebie is the same as yours so on the cheap ceramic guys I guess that is just the case. GL to you.

Try taking the BC apart and make sure the wick is straight. Fill it up upside down only to just below the wicks. Make sure the syringe doesn't have any air in it.

The VN. Look in the mouth piece, push the white rubber tube out and see if that helps. Blow out the air tube from the mouth piece end. If its feeling really tight, DON'T tilt it. Also try pulling the rubber top seal off and roll it around in a paper towel to get the excess liquid out.

Tried all the suggestions and nope still leaks.

Already tossed a few 3ml and the XL's into the trash due to leaking (juices just dumping). A few work great but it feels like half my pack are duds.

The 3ml ones are a pain to open up compared to the XL's.

Going to look for a drill to make the air holes bigger on the VN. I ordered 3 and all three have the small tight draw. It feels like I'm trying to drink a milkshake out of a straw.

If I take the rubber piece off than I get decent airflow but than it'll leak when I put it on its side.

Any more help would be great.

For the nova, the hole in the bottom of the screw on head is super tiny.Open that up first,if still tight take out the center pin n open those up.Worked great for me.

Anychance you got a pic of this?

Looking at the atty head, I really don't have much clearance to make the hole much bigger.

I am glad to help. Most like the stiff draw but i am not a fan.Sorry I couldnt post pics.

Don't worry about it. You're the one who told me to bore out the atty head. I really think the tight draw comes from there after playing around with the setup.

These Viva's seem to require a different draw technique.
