I got some Inawera Honey and it has a bad scent. I want to try the Bit-O-Honey recipe that I found on this forum (can't remember who posted it for sure) but I'm very leary about using this honey flavoring. I made a tad bit up in a mix and it still has a bad scent and I imaging it's going to taste similar to the way it smells, which isn't very good. Can someone please tell me which company has the most authentic honey flavoring?
Thank you

Inawera's honey tastes/smells alot like clover, which is the flower that the bees get their nectar from when producing clover honey. Clover honey is just one type of honey. It's possible that you're not liking the smell/taste of clover, as maybe you thought the flavoring would just have a very strong, artificial, super-sweet generic honey taste/smell to it. I've yet to find a honey like that myself, so I have no recommendations for you in that regard. Maybe you could try this

1.5% Inawera Honey
1.5% TFA Sweet Cream, 1% FA Fresh Cream, or 2.5% Cap Vanilla Custard (each choice would produce a different result).
.25% Sweetener of your choice

Inawera Honey doesn't have a bad smell, Clover Honey doesn't have a bad smell. I think you might have bought some bunk Inawera Honey.

It's pretty subjective. I don't like the smell of Inawera Honey in the bottle or in my mix. I have the real deal from Poland, so I know there is no chance of getting a bad battle. Some smell cat piss, others smell golden honey. I smell strong Clover, very little sweetness, and a touch of vacuumed up dog hair.

Huh. Interesting reactions. I love the stuff. It should be good from Bull City, I don't think they rebottle anyway...VaperTek rebottles but I've had theirs and it's good too. Whatever, you don't like it, you don't like it. More for me. vaping Zone super concentrated Gourmet (aka Baker Flavor) Honey is very good too. Some people like FlavourArt Honey but I prefer Inawera's.

Here's a review from a couple of years ago. Here's the link to the whole review. Hopefully it will set your mind at ease about Inawera honey. I like the stuff and got it from Bull City. Link to review: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...iew-45-flavors-inawerashop-add-yours-too.html

And a copy of the Honey part:
16. Honey (Miod) - VPG. Power Smoke - 5 drops on 5ml -

Flavoring aroma in bottle - Sweet clover, honeysuckle, slightly floral, honey

e-liquid aroma in bottle - Same as above, except lighter (Post steep) smooth lightly fragrant honey, almost honeysuckle-like

Do not vape early, for many users this one must steep or you may detect the infamous "cat urine" often mentioned with some honey and tobacco vapes Not to worry, and don't let that scare you, that aspect dissipates after a decent steep and then turns into a wonderful honey / honeysuckle aroma! Vapor flavor is very smooth and is slightly sweet, tastes how fresh honey smells with a hint of sweet clover.

This will be a great mixer for various type mixes, candies, tobaccos, drinks, ect. And I can even see some enjoying it as a standalone as well. I've used this in a few tobacco mixes and they've been great!

It's such a relief to find a good honey! Recommend 3-6 drops per 5ml when used as a mixer, depending on how strong you need the honey aspect of your mix, for stand alone use 5-8 drops per 5ml should be a good starting point.

Overall Rating - 8.5/10
