Hey everyone, just wanted to post this and get some insight on what some next steps could be for me or if I've missed anything. I'll try and be as detailed as possible. I apologize for the length of this post. Thank you in advance for any advice and suggestions.

I quit smoking on October 21st, 2014 and immediately went into vaping. I was using an Evod set up with 24mg, 50/50. Everything was perfectly fine until about the middle of Decemeber. I then started to become short of breath every time I would vape. This would lead to coughing.

Through the end of October to the middle of Decemeber the only thing that changed in my set up was I took myself down to 0mg nicotine and went to 60vg/40pg. This was to prepare for RDA's and mech mods.

Since the coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath has started I began to research all about this. I made sure I was inhaling the vapor correctly and turns out i had been the whole time. I tired 100% PG flavorless and 100% VG flavorless for about 10 days each.

I went to the doctors to see about any allergies that I might have and turns out I have no allergies to anything in the juice. vaping didn't effect me for 2 months but now for the past 6 weeks I have tried different types of liquid and even tried not inhaling but it still effects me everytime I vape. If I go about 24 hours without vaping I stop coughing and do not have shortness of breath.

Please if anyone has any knowledge or advice they could pass my way I woold be very appreciative. I absolutely love vaping and even have ventured into creating products, I want this to be a part of my life but as of now I can't. Once again thank you in advance!

I would suggest you see a respiratory therapist and not a general practitioner, it does sound like a form of COPD .......

Thank you, I have been considering that but was honestly scared to pull the trigger. I'll call the doc today and see when I could come in so I can get some answers.

Excellent advice.....get checked out thoroughly and keep us posted.
