I'm new to diy, but not to vaping or mixing pre-made juices. I just got my Nicotine from RTS Vapes.
It is "60 ML of 100 MG Nicotine Liquid - 10% Flavorless Nicotine Mixed with Vegetable Glycerin."
This means, to make 6% E-juice, for 10 ml of juice, I will add .6ml of Nicotine to 9.4ml of PG, VG & Flavor. Is this correct? Please let me know. Thank you for lending your expertise!

That is correct you would add .6ml (point 6 ML's) nicotine solution to 9.4ml of PG/VG and flavoring to make 10 ML's of 6mg ejuice. Also remember that flavoring has PG in it so you need to take that into concederation when figuring the amount of plain PG needed. Get yourself the e-juice me up calculator. This will make figuring it out easy.

You don't really have to put it in the freezer unless you buy enough to last a decade. If you buy 100mg in a liter bottle then you probably will have to store some of it. It is more economical but that's a lot of juice. I normally only buy 120ml at a time just so I don't have to. That still makes a lot of juice

Thank you for your help. I tried a couple calculators, but while looking for Nic, I found there were several strengths of Nicotine. (48 mg...etc.) and some calculators don't ask about strength. But thank you for your quick reply, and lending your expertise.

A calculator that does not include the strength of your nicotine solution would be worse than useless, i.e. dangerous. Are you sure you are using them correctly? If you are good with algebra, I have a blog that explains the math, but please do not use it unless you are sure you understand it.

How do you determine how much PG is in the flavoring? I've not noticed the % given in the ingredients.

Thanks!

That calculator is highly recommended!!
I CAN do the math, even when it gets tricky (like the time I had some 36mg base to use up, and some 100mg base, and was having trouble GETTING to my PG/VG ratio, lol) - but the calculator won't let you make a silly mistake, and let's you easily change a number "just to see what happens" and tweak your recipe.

For our purposes, if the flavoring is IN PG base, it can be treated as all PG. The actual flavors are tiny tiny amounts, that our inaccuracy in measurement makes inconsequential. MOST flavorings are in PG base - but eJuiceMeUp does allow you to indicate if you happen to be using one that is not.

Either keep some out, or plan to wait a while before use - it's VERY THICK when cold, and can be more difficult to measure that way. Freezer is great for storing "backup". People often buy a large volume for savings (or if they're worried about regulation making it hard to get) and put MOST of it in the freezer, but keep enough out to work with. I keep one bottle in my "mixing stuff tackle box" and one in the freezer. Each bottle is more than 6 months worth for me...but it's just easy to do it that way.

I have one more quick question about Nicotine. I read somewhere that you should keep your Nicotine bottle in the freezer to keep it clear & odorless. Is this true and it will keep liquidity, like alcohol, or will it freeze?

Just go ahead and treat it as 100% PG, any juice calculator would. Speaking of which, just go ahead and get a good calculator to make things a whole lot simpler. E-Juice Me Up has been recommended here before, but if you have an Android device eLiquid Recipe Manager (free or Pro) is an excellent app here's a screenshot:

Thanks for the response Train2.
That makes sense to consider the flavoring as 100% PG if it is in PG as most I have seen.
I have the "eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator" and have been doing practice runs with it for a few weeks now and its really an easy one to use....but was not sure about the PG % for the flavors but now this makes it easier!!

Thanks for the response rasmith1959....
I like the look of this calculator...very clean and user friendly...I do not have a smartphone so I'm computer/Windows based only so I'm set up with the "eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator" and its pretty good.
The 100% treatment of the flavoring for PG or VG makes sense and makes it easier to figure.

Anyone know if the "ejuice me up calculator" has an option for measuring by grams rather than drops?
I know there are 1 or 2 out there that do and I would like to have that option as I am going to try measuring by weight as well as drops!

Thanks!

Measurements are given in drops, ML's and percent in the e-juice me up calc.

Yeah...I looked but could not find an option for grams/weight....but I remember one out there that you can change it from drops to grams for weight measures but I didn't really like the calculator as a whole so I didn't down load it..but now..I'm thinking maybe I would give it another try if I could find it....
Oh well...
Thanks for the response danny45.....
